CARA POV

I looked around at the almost empty apartment block my family had been living in for the past 18 years of my life.
It was almost completely empty everything we ever owned was all packed away in boxes ready to be taken to our new home. I'm not to sure were it really is but. Our life is better there I can feel it. I can sense it.

"Are you ready honey" my mothers voice yelled from the stairs "yeah I coming" I said my hands running down on the wall I drew all over when I was 4 that had been painted over in a grey. I guess the grey family is leaving a mark. Did I forget to mention my name is Cara Grey.

"I can't believe we are finally going to be in an actual house" my father said as he opened the car door for me. "I'm going to miss this place" I sighed as I got in. "It's for the best honey" my parents said once they were in the car and then we were off.

I looked out of the car window and I could see was trees the entire new area was surrounded by green healthy forests and as soon as we pasted the
      'WELCOME TO RAVEN HILL'
Sign I knew this is my new home and the forest was going to have to become my friend.

I never liked the forest that much there's something about them that just puts me off. There's something about all the wild animals that just scared me.

You may be wondering why is my family moving. Well to answer your question my dad got a job as the towns new criminal detective and my mum had transferred from New Yorks hospital to Ravens  Hill hospital and she's a nurse.

"We're here" my mom said tapping me on the shoulder "here?" I said opening the door looking at our new house which was huge a lot bigger than our apartment. The house was a cream colour with a tiled roof a large porch and dark wooden door. "It's beautiful" I said closing the car door.

"I'll show your room" my parents said as we open the door the house had already been furnished. " this way " they said leading me up 2 flights of stairs "and this is your room" they said as they opened the door. The room was huge  10 times bigger than my old one the celling covered with fairy lights to give the effect of starts the bed was right against the middle window. "It's beautiful" . Everything thing I packed away last week had been moved into this room my Tv, my computer and my MacBook. "There's even a window seat" I said hugging my parents my entire life I had wanted one. "I love you" I said jumping on my new bed "how did we get this house?" I said Normally a house like this would be way more expensive then our budget "we don't really know" my dad said "get some sleep we've had a long day" they said kissing me on top of the forehead before walking out with mom. "Night" .

I took off my clothes and wrapped a towel around my body and walked into the joint bathroom. I turned on the warm water and waited for the the bath tub,adding some bubbles once it finished I turned off the water and got in relaxing my muscles.

"Is that howling " I said as the noise broke my silence. I quickly got out of the tub drying off. It sounded so close like as if it was on the roof. And then suddenly the howling started again I ran to my window seat holding my towel around my body. I turned the the nob opening the window I then poked my head out to check that nothing was there. But I was wrong there wasn't a wolf but a small little boy sitting on the edge of my roof "hey you!" I yelled getting his attention, he turned around his eyes glowing and razor sharp teeth like he was ready to rip something to pieces. "Ahhh" I screamed closing the window and running to the other side of the room and then the noise just stopped.
