I have such a strong relationship with my Mom and Dad, I never used to but God has helped me to understand that all they are trying to do is help and they don't want you to make the mistakes they made when they were younger. I never believed this and sometimes i still don't but I just take a deep breathe and ask God for strength.
Before i was close with God i would yell at my parents because they wouldn't let me do stuff other teenagers where doing which would lead to me doing it behind there backs and caused me to lie to them about a lot .
It isn't the type of relationship that you should have with your parents , you should be able to speak to them about everything. God is your Father too and you wouldn't treat him that way so you shouldn't treat your Dad or Mom that way either. I know its Hard and I have done some stuff i regret but i can't change that no matter how much i want to, you just need to grow from it and learn from it. God understands and he should always be the first you go to and your parents, for advice.
"Hear , my son , your Fathers instruction and do not forsake your Mothers teaching." - Proverbs 1:8
Just remember your parents where your age once , even if sometimes it feels like they don't know what your going through as a teenager , they do they just try to help in there own way.
