You ran down the hall of the bunker, the lights were off and you were panting. You tried your best to stay quiet, to not give away where you were hiding. Your lungs burning from pushing yourself for so long. So you hid in a corner to catch your breath, until you heard a voice.
"I know you're here Y/n, come out." It said, and you had to start running again. You ran into the main room of the bunker, not being able to see anything and hoping your chaser wasn't in here. You crept towards the door, wincing as one of the floorboards under your feet creaked.
"Come on Y/n, don't drag this on." The voice called once again, and your breath hitched as it sounded close. Very close. You saw something move out of the corner of your eye. You knew you had been spotted, might as well make a run for it. You sped down the hall, but before you could get very far a hand wrapped around your waist and the two of you fell to a heap on the floor. You laughed, before grabbing the chaser's face and kissing him, because it was Dean. The two of you had gotten bored of planning a wedding so you decided to play tag in the dark. Sam and Dixie were still hiding.
"You jerk, you were following me the whole time." You complained, and he chuckled as he stood up to help you to your feet.
"I'm a trained hunter baby, I know how to track things. Especially someone as clumsy as you." He replied, and you couldn't help but smile.
"Come on." You said, grabbing Dean's hand, "Let's go find Sam and Dixie." Dean nodded, and the two of you began to go silently down the hall, trying to find the others.
"What are you two doing? Why are the lights off?" You jumped about ten feet in the air, Cas' voice scaring the hell out of you. You turned around to see him standing behind Dean.
"What the hell Cas? You scared me!" You exclaimed, trying to get control of your pulse once again. Cas just furrowed his brows, snapped, and all the lights came back on. You heard a groan from Dixie and Sam as they came out of the kitchen that was just down the hall.
"Come on Cas! We were having fun!" Dean exclaimed, as Sam and Dixie came to stand with you and the older Winchester.
"I don't understand. How is walking around in the dark fun?" The Angel asked, and everyone sighed. You obviously were done playing tag.
"Just forget it, what are you doing here Cas?" Dean asked.
"I came to check in, I haven't been here for some time." Cas said. You walked up to Cas, and smacked him right across the face.
"You abandoned your best friend when he needed you most, I was in a coma for two months and you weren't there to help." You said, before pulling Cas into a hug. Which, of course, he hesitantly hugged back. "I missed you." You muttered.
"I'm confused, are you mad at me or happy to see me?" Cas asked as you pulled away.
"Both." You replied, going back to stand next to Dean. He was holding back laughter, you could tell.
"So, Cas, did you come to help us plan the wedding?" Sam asked jokingly, but Cas took everything too literal. He tilted his head in confusion.
"I had no prior knowledge of a wedding, who's getting married?" He asked.
"Me and Dean." You replied, "We were planning the wedding when we got bored and decided to play in the dark. Then you showed up and ruined that. So I guess we're going to start planning again." You finished. You began walking back to the library, and everyone followed. You sat next to Dixie, Sam and Dean sitting across from the two of you. Cas just stood and watched.
"Alright, Dean. Sam's your best man, any groomsmen?" You asked, looking down at your notes. Dean was in thought for a moment.
"Cas, and Benny. And Garth." Dean said, and you nodded before writing down the names. Cas suddenly talked.
"What is a groomsmen? Why am I one?" He asked, sitting next to Dean. You looked up, a laugh playing on your lips.
"Cas, you and a couple guys will be representing me at my wedding. It just means you'll help plan my bachelor party and stand next to me at the actual wedding." Dean explained, and Cas nodded with a furrowed brow.
"What about you Y/n?" Dixie asked, and you knew she just wanted to know if she was going to be your maid of honor.
"You'll be my maid of honor, of course, and I think I'll have Jodie, Donna, and Charlie as bridesmaids." You said, remembering the few times you'd met those women and how you had immediately liked them.
"Yay, okay." Dixie commented, and you laughed before writing the information on your notes. You planned a few other things, like writing potential priests down and you had just began working on the seating arrangement when Cas spoke.
"Y/n, there's something off about you. You're........ broken." He said, titling his head to the side as he stared at you.
"No I'm not, I'm completely, utterly happy Cas. Maybe your Angel juice is malfunctioning or something." You replied.
"Not your soul, my fault, I should have been more specific. It's your body. You can't have children." He explained, and you looked at him as if you had just been slapped. Tears filled your e/c eyes.
"Wow Cas, thanks for the reminder." You spat, before slamming your pen down and hurrying out of the room and towards your and Dean's room. You slammed the door shut, and locked it. You slid down the door until you hit the floor, then tucked your head in between your knees and sobbed.
"Y/n, I apologize. I didn't know this was such a sensitive subject for you. I will fix it." Cas said, he must've used his Angel powers to get in. He crouched down and pressed two fingers to your forehead. A warmth filled you, and you looked up at him.
"What did you do?" You asked, standing up and wiping your tears away.
"I fixed it, you can now have children." He replied, and you gasped.
"Cas, are you joking? Please tell me you're not joking." You said, and Cas furrowed his brow.
"Why would I lie to you? I'm telling the truth, you can have children." He replied, and you grinned before pulling Cas into a hug and kissing his cheek.
"Thank you so much Cas." You whispered, before running out into the hall and yelling, "I can have kids!"
