Emily's pov
Her black high heels clacked on the hard tile of the church floor. Her uncle had died, he had died of cancer 2days ago, it had hit her hard. Her tan face now streaked with tears. She was heartbroken. I was here for support because I had met her once. Soaked in black, she always looked beautiful in it, but now the color seemed dull. I sat on the pew waiting for a response from Him. He was not happy nor sad, he was dull and dumb, like a depressed dog. I turned to the body, pale and lifeless. I thought this is what I would look like with a life without her.
