Kokona X Saki

"You know you're my best friend, right?" Kokona Haruka cheerfully said, grinning at Saki Miyu.

Saki couldn't help but hate the words. She was happy that Kokona thought of her that way, but she didn't want to just be friends. It made her cringe though, to think of ever dating Kokona, she wanted too though. Some days she could accept that, other days she couldn't. She wished it had never happened, everything becomes so complicated when you fall in love with your best friend. Really. Complicated.

Kokona and Saki were lying on Saki's couch, watching some TV. Not that any of them were really paying attention, they were too busy playfully fighting over popcorn and crisps. Saki was used to having sleepovers with all of her friends, but this time it was just her and Kokona. It was almost terrifying and she felt creepy being there with her. Luckily, they were sleeping on separate mattresses.

"Yeah, you're mine too, Kokona, I'm glad I met you." Saki replied, nervously looking down. She knew she probably looked like a tomato or something, but Kokona didn't seem to notice.

Kokona looked away before looking back, snatching a handful of salt and vinegar crisps. Saki sunk back into the couch, flicking through the channels. Nothing good seemed to be on, but it was almost 4am now.

"I love you, Saki." Kokona muttered, munching on some popcorn.

Saki smiled, "I love you too." But she knew that it was never going to be in the same way Saki loved Kokona.
