These are some of my poems I have written since 5th grade. Some are depressing and some are just not my best work so enjoy and tell me your honest opinions!<3

Just Drown, Darling
---------------------------
Ice cracks under her feet as silent tears drip from her innocent face.
Her hair gracefully covers the beauty trying to seep out from underneath.
The once perfect black that lined her eyes is now smeared and resembles a raccoon.
Through her blurred vision,
She can simply make out the edge of a frozen pond in the horizon.
"This way is more simple," she thinks.
However,
She is truthfully wrong.
All the pain this way is far more tortured than anything she has ever endured.
Her bruised back and eye is nothing compared to this fight between life and death.
She ruined her.
She ruined everything.
All that was left of her every breaking heart.
The frigid wind slices at her rosy cheeks and redden nose.
The pond comes into view.
Her knock off converse are covered in damp,
Defrosting snow and she starts to feel it soak into her socks.
She is at the edge now.
All the heart-wrenching memories she tried to bury for so long come to life,
Flowing like a river into her well-being and taking control of her easily manipulated mind.
The laughs,
The jokes,
And adorable compliments are the least of her worries.
The tears are falling like confetti at a birthday party.
Now comes the heartbreak.
The abuse.
The misunderstandings.
These are what she is dying slowly,
Painfully,
From inside.
Her silent screams carry through the emptiness.
She takes a hesitant step forward and the ice wines softly at the sudden pressure.
"One foot," she thought,
"Just one more.."
The ice continues to split as all of her weight is forced onto it.
A voice echoes in her mind,
"Just drown Darling."
The nickname she always called her did its verdict.
She lightly jumped.
A loud crack illuminated in the trees as the icy waters engulfed her.
She emerged from the water out of shock,
Took one last breath,
And sank underneath the ice.
She purposely trapped her self so the struggle would diminish a little bit.
At first,
It all fun and games.
Then death starts to take its toll.
After a minute,
Aquatic tears join her sorrow,
The lack of oxygen starts to tear at her lungs making her jerk her vibrant green eyes open.
Seconds later,
Bubbles escape her gaping mouth.
Eyes bulge and a shadow appears above.
With her lungs feeling like an inferno,
She glances up.
She can recognize her figure and tears want to come.
An impossible task underwater.
In her last moments of thrashing about under the frozen death trap, She can barely make out a voice.
However, before slipping into a long,
Ever-lasting dark sleep she can hear the raspy voice say...
"Just drown darling."
