I slowly turned away from Harry and continued to look around the room. Louis, Zayn, Niall, Liam, and some other guys were talking to Kirs and Clare.

Private school boys talking to major druggies? Cute.

And of course, Kirs and Clare were practically drooling. Clare looked like she fit in with them perfectly though. Her long, shiny blonde hair went with her ocean blue eyes. She was laughing with a cigarette in her mouth ready to light it.

Kirs on the other hand seemed as though she was having the time of her life, but at the same time looked a bit uncomfortable. You can tell she hasn’t been in contact with an attractive male besides our friends Brett, Evan, Brad and James. Kirs was wearing a Star Wars shirt with ripped black jeans and vans. She had black hair with purple highlights and was twirling it around her finger as she was looking at Niall while he was speaking to Louis. Interesting.

Evan, James and Brad were huddled on the other side of the living room, completely ignoring the rich clique.

James came up to me and Brett looking annoyed. “Do these guys seriously think they can come over here and have all our weed and beer?” His arms were extended out and his face had anger written all over it. His red hair matched his flaming cheeks. You had to admit, he was pretty cute.

“Who invited them anyway?” Brett asked.

“I don’t know. All I know is right when you left a crowd of up-in-the-ass guys walk into the place and our beautiful, charming Hay grabbed...Luke? I don’t remember, and they went to her room and I see they’re still up there.” He pointed to the ceiling where you can here quiet bed rocking and groans. “Then these idiots crowded around the other girls and started drinking and smoking.” He looked at the group of boys who were well dressed, doing exactly as he described. He shook his head. “Rich kids.” He scoffed and walked away.

Brett looked at me in an apologetic sort of way. No one here besides him and the rest of the boys beside Brad, James and Evan knew I went to Granger Academy: the school for sophisticated young boys and girls. I started attending when I was a sophomore and I can say that I pretty much hate everyone there. I was quiet, and had a few friends. Everyone was just too...sophisticated. Well, at least I thought they were. I would’ve never imagined to see some of the hottest upperclassmen here from my school. This small little house that Hay lived in by herself is nothing compared to there billion dollar houses.

For some reason I was starting to get a bit nervous. From what? I’m not sure, but I was itching for a cigarette or something to make me loosen up.

I turned to Brett. “Hey, do you have a cigarette?” A cigarette has been the only thing that’s been able to calm me down lately. Which is weird. I’ve only ever started smoking this summer, and to me it’s been the greatest discovery.

“You don’t want something else?” He pointed his chin to the table in the middle of the living room. It was covered in rolled up joints, small bags with white substances, pills, beer cans, and bottles of drinks I didn’t know the name of.

“Um,”

“Here, I’ll get you something.” Brett walked to the table, grabbed two joints off the table and handed one to me.

“Thanks.” I placed it in my mouth and allowed Brett to light it for me.

As I was smoking, my eyes were fixed on the tall, curly haired, green eyed boy the entire time. Right when I was about to let the smoke escape from my mouth once again, he got up and went to the end of the stairs where above him were his friend and Hay.

Harry placed his brown, worn out boot on the first step.“Luke, let’s get fucking going! Finish up some other time!”  I smiled a bit, impressed that he actually has more words in his vocabulary other than please and thank you. “Luke!”

A sweaty, pink faced Luke came down from the stairs with a wild haired Hay who was holding onto his arm. Luke’s shirt was completely unbuttoned and and his pants were unzipped to the point where you can see his boxers. He was holding his shoes.

Harry smirked. “Had a good time, yeah?”

“Fuck off.” Luke said pushing passed Harry as Hay let go of his arm, now entering the living room where everyone else was.  Harry looked at me, bit the inside of his cheek which revealed his dimple and went back to where his friends were.

“Best sex I’ve had in awhile.” Hay said while grabbing a random can of beer and drank from it.

Brett fixed his hair and said, “Were you sober, or drunk the whole time, huh Hay?”

“I’d probably say half and half.” She chuckled to herself then looked at me. “Arabella, right?” I guess it’s one of the rare moments I actually see Hay and not her drunk, crazy self.

I nodded. She sat down on the floor beside me and Brett.

“Do you still want that?” She pointed her finger at my lit joint that I’ve been twiddling around my fingers for the past few minutes.

“Um, no. Here.” I handed it to her and she immediately put it in her mouth.

I took out my phone from my pocket and looked at the time. It’s going on 6:30.

“So were you the one who invited those...guys?” Brett asked releasing smoke from his mouth.

Hay did the same. “Obviously. Luke wanted some fun and drugs and I decided to give it to him.” She crossed her legs. Her big t-shirt not providing any concealment for them.

“How’d you even meet them?” I looked at Hay, asking her the question I’ve been asking myself.

“I met Luke at this really lame bonfire. We drank together and he wanted to take me home and you know what happened afterwards.” She winked at us. “He texted me last night asking me if I wanted another round in bed and I just couldn’t refuse, but he brought his friends, which sort of sucked.” She took a drink from her can. “PLUS CURLY GUY RUDELY INTERRUPTED MINE AND LUKE’S FUN.” She said loud enough for the whole house to hear.

Luke, Harry, and the rest of the boys who came were at the end of the the living room which lead to the kitchen where the front door was located at.

Harry leaned on the door frame. He looked at me, smirking. “Please do accept my apology, but me and my friends have papers to write. Don’t we Arabella Walker?” He winked at me and walked towards the front door. He walked out, leaving the metal door to slam behind him.

Luke sighed and walked out along with the group of guys throwing away their cigarettes in the garbage can, laughing.

I looked at Hay, but she was already looking at me with eyebrows raised. She laughed a bit. “Oh, we have a Granger in our midst now don’t we?”

I didn’t say anything.

“You’re the first girl I’ve ever met who isn’t a total bitch and goes there.” She smiled and got up from the floor. “You’re pretty rad.” She threw out her cigarette and went to the living room humming to herself. “Arabella Walker is pretty rad.”
