No one's p o v
The Doctor in no way meant to come to this day. He wanted to go to 1800s Greece. Oh well, he'd stick around. The Tardis had wrecked someone's tree. He stepped out and saw a brunette girl with streaks of blonde.
"Hello..I'm so sorry about your tree," he got her attention.
The girl marked her page and looked up at the man with spiked brown hair. "It's alright...my family's always hated that tree," Lia's tone was knowing.
"Not a good place for a tree, I see why," the Doctor smiled.
She nodded, "not a good place at all. Now mind telling me what a strange blue box is doing here."
He tried to explain, "The Tardis it travels through all space and time."
The girl smiled, "is that all?"
He rolled his eyes, "yep." Lia walked towards the man. "I'm the Doctor."
"I'm Lia," Lia told him.
He raised an eyebrow, "full name."
Lia pretended to be offended. "You get to go by Doctor and I can't use the name everyone calls me bye." With no reply except the questioning look Lia gave in. "Emilia with an E."
"Well Emilia with an E, where am I?"
It was Lia's turn to make a facial expression. "Los Angeles, California."
"Good good," he responded.
Then a third voice entered, "Lia you need to get ready. You've got a doctor's appointment and after piano lessons, dance lessons, and final dress rehearsal for you're play."
"You've got a lot of activities," the Doctor commented.
The girl only shrugged, "I want to do a little bit of everything."
"Well you've got to go," the Doctor mentioned.
"I'll see you around," she added glumly.
The Doctor replied, "after you finish everything I'll be back."
Lia's mother walked outside, "let's go."
"Anyway we can skip the Doctor's appointment," Lia tried.
"Nice try but no," her mother spoke.
Lia tried again, "my blood presence's been fine, I take my medicine everyday, and no head injuries."
Her mother glared at her youngest daughter. "Really? You almost passed out during dinner."
"Fine," Lia grumbled.
Then Lia wasn't walking or talking or breathing. "Mom.." Lia fell to her knees, "I'm not feeling too well."
And like that Lia was out like a light.
Doctor's p o v
"Lia!" A concern mother shouted.
"She needs a doctor," the mother called an ambulance. After she hung up, "who are you?"
"The Doctor."
The mom sighed, "great, big blue box."
"How'd you know," I ask?
She sighs, "I do and let's just say I've got my ways."
I tuck that away for later, "what's wrong with her?"
"She's got a problem in her brain, it randomly shuts down. It stopped when she was five and she fell at eight."
Time skip
I was a mess and I didn't know why, I'd only just met her. The hospital waiting room
"Her sister died when she fell from the same tree. Emilia isn't a person...I don't believe she is. I think she's an angel but not a present, a loan. They're taking her back," the mom sobbed.
"It'll be alright," I tried but I wasn't sure.
Then Emilia sat up with a deep breath, "I don't want to go."
"You don't have to," I tried.
Lia's p o v
"I'm not going to die," I insisted.
