Chapter 8 - Faith

It was Christmas morning, and Sakura was already up making breakfast for her two favorite people in the world, her family. He made blueberry pancakes, bacon, eggs and orange juice on the side. She first woke up her husband with a small kiss on the cheek, then the two went to Sarada's room with a big present. "Sarada, wake up, it's Christmas". Sakura kissed her daughter's forehead. Sarada woke up and put on her glasses and noticed a big golden gift box. She reached for it and it was a big panda bear that she wanted. She smiled and thanked her parents. As they all went to the kitchen to eat breakfast, Sarada noticed more gifts under the Christmas tree. As eager to open, she had to eat first.

"So Sarada how's school going for you?" Sasuke asked as he dig in his meal.

"It's ok, I'm in the same class as Boruto, Mitsuke, Chocho, Shikadai and Inojin. I'm top of the class as one of the smart kids and that's all really". Sarada said as she ate.

"Wow, you guys are all together? Reminds me when We were all together in High school. Sasuke looked at his wife.

"Yea, those were the days" Sakura did a nervous laugh as those weren't the good oh days.

"How was mama like?" Sarada asked.

"She was annoying". Sasuke bluntly said. Sakura look back with an evil look. "But, I knew she was the one, so I married her. We went through a whole lot in our youth time. Glad it's over". Sasuke smiled.

"What do you mean?" Sarada was confused.  Sakura looked at Sasuke. "S-Say Sarada dear, let's open some gifts!" Sakura walked towards the tree and grabbed one gift.

As they all open gifts and said their thanks, deep down , Sasuke Wanted to tell her what really happen, why he wasn't around and why he messed up His relationship with her but didn't know if it was time yet to tell her. He felt the relationship breaking.

(Later that day)

"Hello!" Naruto and his family came by to visit. Hinata and Sakura went to the kitchen as they made a pot of tea and of course Naruto had to hang with his best friend. While the kids play with the snow in the backyard.
The guys watch a little of sports while the moms sat and talked.

"Hinata what should I do? Sarada doesn't want to talk to Sasuke and I know she's upset at him for leaving us, but it's not his fault. Sasuke is stuck in New York and we want to tell her but she might not understand". Sakura said as she rest her hand on her forehead thinking.

"I think you should tell her, she deserves to know what happen. She old enough to know right for wrong and you guys were not in the wrong. Yesterday before you guys left, she ask to borrow some photos that the kids were looking through. I checked them, and their was a photo of Itachi in it. I let her keep it because she should know, not from me, but from you guys. She's a smart kid, she'll come around" Hinata said. "Boruto finally talk to Naruto last night. They took a walk and they came back happy, so many it can help". Hinata smiled.

"Yea, your right. I can't believe I didn't have faith in her." Sakura looked down at her tea. "How was visiting Neji?" Sakura asked. "It was nice. The kids put new flowers at his grave this time and shared stories. I still can't believe it's been 10 years". Hinata took a sip of her tea.

"Have you talk to Tenten?" Sakura asked. "No, not in a while..."
