Chapter 8: True Two

Jongkook POV

All of us parked somewhere near Sinb's house. It was late at night and people are sleeping in their home, perfect for us. Everyone got off from the van unloading stuff, planning to move it all into Sinb's house temporarily while I stayed in the van looking at my phone.

I had 5 missed calls and 3 unread messages. The calls and messages were from my girlfriend, Naeun.

We became friends since high school. We did our homeworks together, go out for shopping together, skipping school together and pretty much everything was done together.

She didn't know I was a part of a gang. I'm afraid she will leave me if she knows. I felt a sudden cold in my arms.

"Annyeong yeobo! Are you ready to go out?"
"Hello? Where are you??"
"You said you wanted to go out with me today :( "

I realized that I promised her that day. Facepalm.

She's obviously really upset and annoyed. I have no idea how to reply the message.

"Put the boxes over here first."

"Kwangsoo give me your gun."

"Oh ok wait."

"Jongkook!" said a female either Sinb or Seulgi.

I quickly turned my phone off and slid the door aside. "What do you want?"

"Help us take these boxes into Sinb's house." said Eunji while struggling to lift up 3 stacks of boxes full of guns and accessories.

"Wait, you were inside the second Intel van just now right?" I asked.

"Yeah why?"

"Where's Yerin and Gary?"

"Ah, I sent them back home. You didn't know?" she rubbed her head. Sinb and Jaesuk appeared from the back of the van.

"After the escape. You slept like there was no tomorrow, you didn't keep track of your surrounding situations." Jaesuk shook his head.

I jumped off from the door of the van and helped Eunji by lifting up couple of boxes from her hands. It was heavier and I thought it would be.

I saw Kwangsoo stood still beside the Intel van looking across the street. I turned my head and saw a man running away from nothing.

"Yah, did he saw us?" Kwangsoo looked at me.

"I don't know, maybe?"

"Guys don't just stand there, put these stuff inside the house!" Sinb crossed her arms.

Eunji POV

We had everything moved inside the house and everyone gathered in the living room. We sat on the couches big enough to fit everyone. Sinb sat across me.

Everyone's eyes locked onto me.

"It's been a very very very long day for us." Jaesuk dropped his whole body onto the couch leaving no space for Seulgi and Kwangsoo.

"YAHH! Buy your own couch!" Seulgi whined, pushing Jaesuk aside.

I took a glance at Sinb, she stared at me for quite a moment.

"What they want from us? I thought we're done." she complained.

"The file. They continued the plan without us." I looked down, tapping my fingers on the coffee table.

"I thought our plan to rob the bank in Busan was distinguished a long time ago?" Seulgi interrupted.

"They haven't change, not a little bit." I added. "We left the Wolves under Sinb's leadership. We really did the best decision."
