This is a story of a family of five, a mother a father and three children, two boys and a girl. And this is their untold tale.

They were your average family, the children got along and the parents were happy. They weren't poor or rich, they were an average family no one really knew about. Isn't that normal?

It all started when the father went on a two - week long business trip. This wasn't the he went on one, so the rest of the family though nothing of it. After all, it was normal.

Two days after the father left, the mother started to notice something strange going on in the kitchen. Food would start disappearing, she would fine containers of leftovers with less food then they originally had. But she thought nothing of it, she had two boys, one in high school. She though "They're growing boys, they probably eat a lot". After all that was normal.

Food kept on disappearing throughout the duration of the two weeks, and the mother didn't think much of it. If only she did, she though it was normal.

A day before the father was due to arrive, the mother sent the daughter down into the basement to put the bed sheets into the washing machine. She sent the younger two of the boys with her as well, the girl was young and needed help. When the two children didn't come back upstairs, she sent the eldest boy downstairs to check on them. She thought "They must have made a mess and are probably too scared to tell me, they're children after all isn't that normal? "

But when the three of them didn't come back upstairs, she decided to go down and check on them. She though it was some sort of prank her children were playing on her. But that was not the case, once she went down, she didn't come back up. Tell me, is that normal?

The next day, the father returned from his trip. He went up to the front door and unlocked it. When he entered the house, he was greeted with the sight of his wife and three children sitting down at the dining table with their heads bowed down as if they were praying. He smiled upon seeing this and went to greet them. But before he could approach them someone grabbed him from behind and covered his nose and mouth and he soon fell unconscious. His last thought was "Is this normal?"

Once he woke up, he found himself sitting at the dining table with his family, but he soon noticed the coppery odder in the air, an object in his hand and how sticky his clothes felt on his skin. But before he could comprehend what was going on, his front door burst open and officers stormed into the room pinning him down to the floor and arresting him. After all, they saw a man covered in blood holding a blood-soaked knife, sitting at a table with four corpses. They saw that and arrested the father, that was normal.

The father was put on trial and was charged guilty of murder, despite pleading innocent, and sentenced to life in prison where he died. That was normal.

Later on, police investigation found out that the killer was a man who hid in the basement of the house and not the father. But by then it was too late. But aren't Things like this are normal?
