Chapter 3

The next morning Julia woke up on her table having no idea what was going on, as she started to stand up she freaked out and said "Oh no, I fell asleep I was suppose to do my homework know I'm dead she's going to tell my dad" Julia stopped whining and quickly got her notebook out and started doing her homework fast as she was doing her homework a black dark shadow started showing up she turned her neck and looked up and suddenly saw her "DAD!" screamed Julia "Julia! Are you doing your homework?!" said Julia's dad "Uh no I was just putting my notebook back in my backpack" said Julia nervously "Ok honey the bus will get here soon so get ready" said Robert. Julia got dressed, the bus arrived and she was on her way out the door "Julia, remember to bring your test, I'll be expecting too see it." said Robert "Ok dad, bye" Once Julia arrived school she rushed to her class before the bell so she could get a chance to ask Mrs.Sawyer about "DXCVII" and how to convert it. Julia got to class and went up to Mrs.Sawyer and said "Mrs.Sawyer, can you help me with something?" "Sure what is it?" said Mrs.Sawyer "Could you teach me how to convert Roman Numerals?" said Julia "why do you need to convert it?" Julia had to think of something instantly, "Oh because i want to learn more about the Roman's...and to do better on my test next time" said Julia. Mrs.Sawyer handed julia a piece of paper with codes and how to convert it. The bell rang and class started, "Class i forgot to tell you this yesterday, please have your parents sign the test I handed back yesterday" said Mrs.Sawyer "Oh no! Now she want us to get it signed?!" "Dad's going to kill me i have to come up with something." While the teacher was teaching and Julia was talking to herself, suddenly the fire alarm went off! The school got evacuated and students were sent home. This was good for Julia too but also bad at the same time "Know i have to show the test to dad earlier!?" "At Least i can get home fast and convert the letters" Julia whispered to herself "What letters?" asked Rebecca "Uh...nothing I didn't say letters you probably heard me wrong" Julia said anxiously. Julia arrived home and once she was about to go upstairs her dad stopped her and said "Give me the test!" Julia's dad said in anger "Ok dad" Said Julia as she handed the test to her dad. Robert's face turned red and he looked like he was about to yell so loud that the roof would come off! "Dad I know what you're going to say but I promise that I will study harder next time I Promise." Julia said in fright "Julia you have never gotten a D before in your life! How could this be" Robert said in disappointment "I know I know but I promise dad It won't happen again" said Julia. Julia gave her dad a hug and went upstairs. She shut her door and quickly got the paper Mrs.Sawyer gave her out DXCVII
