The kiss

On the weekend's you came over.

On weekdays we talked in school.

You walked me to my classes.

You told your friends I was yours.

The bell rang, you drove me home.

The rain fell. You pulled into my drive way.

You grabbed my hand.

We made eye contact.

You smiled.

Then you kissed me.

Shy and embarrased, I turned away blushing.

My mom was looking through the window, she saw everything.

I rushed inside.

She cheered for us.

I looked through the window, you drove away.

I wished you'd come back to take me with you.

I hated being home.

I hated my family.

I hated me.

But somehow...

I loved you
