Five minutes into the drive and the basic pure silence Harry had finally spoke up. "Did he hurt you?" He asked. Louis glanced to him and noticed how tense he was. He noticed how tight he was gripping the steering wheel, and how his jaw was continuously clenching and unclenching. He was also breathing with his nostrils flared. It was kind of scary to Louis to be honest.

He eventually looked out the window not wanting to see Harry looking this way. It was too scary for him. It was silent and eventually Louis spoke quietly. "No..." He said in almost a whisper as he watched the street lamps and the cars go by as they sped down the road. He didn't exactly know where they were going and he decided it was not a good time to bring it up. Instead he spoke of another subject, feeling a little bit of confidence. "I could of handled myself ya know...you didn't have to nearly kill him."

Louis has been in many situations like this and he's gotten out of every single one. He would fight if he had to. Harry is silent before he sighs through his nose. "You're a small human. You wouldn't have been able to nothing to him." He spoke making Louis huff and lay back against his seat.

"Well I could of...if...if I really tried." He spoke and looked to his hands. He shook off him being tiny and spoke again. "Just next time don't get too violent..." He suggested to him. Harry rolls his eyes as he pulls into a left turn lane and waits as the light is red.

"Maybe next time you shouldn't let another man touch you..." He spoke as he pushed on the gas and turns into a restaurant as the light was green. Louis didn't mention how annoyed he was that he was being very possessive. He then notices the restaurant and furrows his eyebrows. "What are we doing?" He asked looking to Harry.

"I'm taking you on a date...now get out." He demands as he gets out himself and tosses his keys to the young looking valet. Louis takes a second contemplating on getting out but Harry opens the door and Louis jumps at how serious Harry is. He gulps before he hesitantly gets out and smooths his dress out not wanting anything to show. "I don't like that fact you're spending a fortune on me..." He said. He saw how fast Harry was walking because of his damn giraffe legs. Louis huffs and practically speed walks to try and catch up with him.

Harry stays silent but instead grabs Louis's hand and almost forces him to catch up with him, which almost resulted Louis stumbling a couple of times. They enter the fancy restaurant and Louis is absolutely awestruck. It's so beautiful and so fancy, he felt he didn't belong in here. Once they reach the front desk a woman speaks, her tag reads Becky. "Hello welcome to Le Gravoche...do you have a reservation?" She asked.

Louis looks to Harry expectantly with raised eyebrows. "No I don't actually. But a nice table in the back away from everyone would be nice. With a window to look out of too, you know to see the beautiful city." He said. Louis frowns when he says that, and he also notices Harry's pupils dilating. That was strange.

"Yes of course. Please follow me." She says dazed. Louis looks to her suddenly and saw the same dilated pupil look before she turned and led them to a table. She leaves them be and Harry thanks her before he hums and scoots into the table with his chair while Louis follows. Harry looks to Louis and gives him a small smile. He opens his mouth to speak but Louis beats him to it.

"You better be giving me answers now..." He said. "Because what just happened and everything else is telling me that you are definitely not normal..."

"Well...you're right about the not normal part." He said with a hum, he then frowns at him. "You're too far away..." He spoke before moving over to sit next to him. Louis closes his eyes and turns to him giving a serious look.

"Stop changing the damn subject and just give me answers for once." He had enough of this game Harry was playing. He wanted to know and he wanted to know now. "I mean you're running at remarkable speeds, you have those teeth...and then there was that incident...Harry it all adds up to one thing but I don't know if I can believe it or not." He speaks

Harry stares at him for the longest time and eventually he breathes out his response. "Say it. Out loud." He speaks lowly and deeply.

Louis stares back into his eyes before he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. "Vampire..." He said quietly.  It was the only explanation, but vampires didn't exist. They were something that people dressed up as for Halloween and sparkled on that one dumb teen movie that Louis happens to forget the name of.

They weren't supposed to be real

"Are you ready to order?"  A voice speaks before Harry has the chance to. Louis simply looks to the tablecloth that is just supposed to be more interesting than anything that is going on right now.

"Your most expensive wine please..." He speaks and the waiter nods before scribbling it in his pad before walking off leaving the two alone. It is awkward between the two and Louis can feel the intimidating stare from Harry and he wants to look up but he can't. He feels almost afraid. Then Harry clears his throat and speaks. "You're right..." He said watching him as if he was about to run or something.

"Why haven't you killed me yet?" Louis asked, eventually able to look up into the dark man's eyes. Harry stared right back into him and he bit his lip with a frown. Louis silently waited for a response before he sighed and this time Harry was looking down.

"Because I can't..."
