A Lost Friendship

We lost touch.

We haven't  talked in years. 

I miss you.

I miss having your friendship. 

Your guidance. Your advice. 

I just miss having you in my life. 

All those moment we spent together.

We laughed. We cried.

We had good times.

But that didn't seem to matter to you.

You wanted something else.

My friendship wasn't  good enough for you.

You went with others who you thought could offer a better friendship.

And those other friendships you had didn't work out like you would have wanted them to.

They drove you away from your dreams, your destiny.

And you didn't notice until it was too late.

I would have been there for you.

But you just seemed to push me away. 

You hurt me like no other person has. 

It's true when they say the people you love will hurt you the most. 

You were a lost.

I could no longer help you.

Help you find your way back.
