Eleanor's POV

I remember being in middle school and pretending to be in a band with my friends. I'd be the rhythm guitarist plus the lead singer. Never the lead guitarist, bassist, or drummer. Always the same; rhythm guitarist and lead singer.

I grew up loving to sing, as it had always been a passion of mine. I did every single school musical offered, and I used to memorize every single song I could.

In the sixth grade, I got a guitar for Christmas. A gorgeous Fender Stratocaster with a rose wood fretboard. I would look up how to play songs I knew, and would put on talent shows for my family. It was my dream to be in a famous band, and to tour the world.

In the seventh grade, a girl named Danielle moved to my town. We instantly clicked, and then we befriended two other girls from our school; Lily and Mikaela. I knew Lily from band, because she played percussion and she played kit in jazz band.

I played trumpet. I had seen Mikaela around school, also. It was hard not to notice her, due to her bright pink hair that she always kept in space buns. That was just her thing, you know. Never would I have thought that those three girls would be my best friends, and eventually my bandmates.
