"Search for the others" I question they could be anywhere, I wouldn't even know where to start. They're all just like me finally I'll be able to meet people who won't judge me for these powers.
"Yes," Evan replies flicking through the pages of the book of the seven, stopping on a page.
"Here, information on the other members," he exclaims that's oddly convenient, so basically everything we need to know is in it, I look down at the page...it's blank, I rub my eyes and stare intently at the page waiting to see something but still nothing, is there something I'm missing here?
"Evan It's blank," I confessed I felt like I was doing something wrong, what is missing why can't I see it?
"Oh I forgot," he exclaimed, of course, there is something else.
"What, what is it?"I shout. I want to know what I need to do, I'll do anything.
"Where is your symbol?" he asks uh...my what? What symbol? Am I supposed to have a symbol? I don't think I have a symbol. What do I say I don't have a symbol?
"My...what?" I ask puzzled I must look really stupid right now, but what if I don't have one?
"Your symbol, all members have one" he explains Evan (now wearing his shirt) rolls up his sleeve to reveal on his forearm in bold black lettering the word 'second', that's his symbol where is mine? I bite down hard on my lip and rub the back of my neck, I didn't even notice Evan coming up behind me, he casually lifts up the back of my shirt, I feel his freezing cold fingertip touch my spine. My reflexes kick in and I immediately turn retreating away from him, then I bang my head on the wooden desk, ow ugh why is it always me?
"What are you doing?" I stammer my voice trembling, why is he doing that?
"I'm looking for your symbol," he said tilting his head at me, doesn't he know that's really wrong, that you can't do things like that randomly to people."You could of...warned me first," I exclaim wrapping my shirt tighter around myself, Evan shuffles towards me with the book in his hand,
"Okay, can I look for it," he asks stretching his hand out to me, I bite down harder on my lip the metallic taste of my blood fills my mouth,
"Um...okay," I mumble turning to face the desk, slowly unbuttoning my crumpled shirt sliding it off my bony shoulders. I'm covered in goosebumps as Evan traces his finger across my back, shivers go up my spine, I can't help trembling, I'm so nervous I cover my non-existent chest, why is he taking so long?"Found it," he calls out finally, I throw my shirt back over my shoulders, quickly buttoning it back up, I stare back at the previously blank page as the golden letters start to reveal them self thank god, that was definitely the most awkward moment of my life and there is many.
The page is titled 'The Seven' and after it, seven short paragraphs follow.
"This is information on each of the seven members, it's not very detailed but it's enough," Evan said tracing each of the golden letters,
"We must go right away, now I have found you, we must find the rest," he proclaims bursting with excitement, go find the rest, but how would we find them?"How will we find them?" I ask we have no leads except this book, which despite it looks is actually pretty useless unless you know where they are.
"By using you," he answers. Me? Does he know something I don't again? How will I be able to find them?
"What me..." he cuts me off, closing the book and hurrying over to his desk gathering his belongings, he is completely ignoring me, isn't he.
"We have to go," he exclaims he is definitely ignoring me, he grabs a small bag from his wardrobe, stuffing the large book into it. As he changes, I shield my eyes I'm turning into an embarrassed tomato again. I've never seen him so enthusiastic before.
