Mr. Smith raised Hazel to the best of his ability, but it became to much.
When she was in 7th grade her bullying began. She had no friends and was constantly criticized for being different.
Hazel wasnt like the rest of her classmates. She didn't try her hardest to look her best. She didn't wear tons of makeup or tight clothes. She couldn't bring herself to care.
Every morning she had less and less energy. She didn't have the strength to worry about what to wear, so she threw on sweatpants and a t-shirt every single day.
She didn't talk to anyone. She was to anxious. Words wouldn't come out of her mouth even if she wanted them to. She was constantly afraid.
She would come home run to her room and lie down staring at the ceiling. Life became meaningless. Her father tried to communicate with her and make things better. All she did was scream at him to go away. She would yell "Leave me alone, you don't understand"
She never did her homework or chores. She would talk back to her dad and teachers. She hid, locked away in her room.
Mr. Smith couldn't take it. He gave up on her, decided she was a lost cause. Then... he left.
Hazel, a 13 year old girl was left all alone with her two worst enemies, Depression and Anxiety.
