Noelle

I stumbled out of my vehicle and took a deep breath telling myself that I could do this. I walked up to the huge building that stood in front of me. In bold  "Golden supermarket" was written at the top of the building. When I finally gained confidence, I opened the glass door.

The building was inviting and very cozy. As soon as I walk inside I rub my hands together to capture some warmth. There were only staff members walking around seeing as the building had a sign that said "closed."

A fairly tall girl approached me. She had heavy make up on and seemed a bit younger than me maybe by a year or so. She had blonde hair and purple dip-dyed ends and had an eyebrow piercing and she also had, and yes I did count, five ear piercings on her right ear. "Hi, I'm Fae," she smiled at me. "And you are?"

"Oh hi, I'm Noelle." I smile, sticking out my hand for her to shake. She walks over to the counter grabs a name tag that had my name on it and hands it over to me. "This is for you." She smiles and I nod my head in gratitude.

"Come let me show you around." Fae said before she pulled my arm and dragged me towards the store room. The door read "staff only" and the room was huge. Sprawled on the shelves were boxes with multiple of items the shops retail.

"And this is where we obviously keep our extra stock, so if any of the stock are all sold out or have been removed from the shelf we then replace them with these and when ever you replace the items you have to write it down in the system, thank goodness you don't have to write it down in a book because it takes forever!" I chuckle at her statement and she leads me to a group of people gathered around most probably gossiping about stuff.

"Let me go introduce you to some of the workers." She said walking down the "champagne" isle. A lady shorter than me picked up items from the trolley and stacked them neatly onto the shelves. She had the most beautiful brown hair that she had plaited.

She saw us approach her and she smiled. "Hey Fae," She greets
with a very thick american accent. "Oh hi, I am Riele and you must be Noelle. Lovely name!" She says as she continues to stack the champagne bottles onto the shelf.

"Thank you so much. It's really nice to meet you." I smile back at her. "So I'm assuming I'll see you guys throughout the day, yeah?" Fae and I nod our heads simultaneously before Fae answers her. "Yeah sure, see you later."

"And that's Maria, Elena and Jay by the bakery section. You don't see much of them throughout the day." Fae says pointing towards them and I nod in approval.

After showing me around the she stop Fae stops walking and looks around her, "I guess this comes to the end of our tour. By the way, you start working tomorrow."

"Yeah, I do and, uhm, thank you once again for showing me around, I really appreciate your help." I say leaving the store. She waved goodbye as I approached my vehicle.

Wow, i thought to myself, I've got so much ahead of me. I wanted to go back home, not working and having to support myself, I wanted my old life back. But everything happens for a reason, i mean I wouldn't be here if everything would have worked out back home.

Sighing, I started my car and drove out of the parking lot and back my apartment to find another car parked in my spot.

What the fuck, who the fuck is parked in my parking space? This is stupid honestly. Now I was beyond frustrated, who does this person think they are? huh? Hhm, what can I do? Where the fuck do I park my car now?

I think I'll just hoot.

Nothing, great!

Okay, let me try again.

Yet again, nothing!

I wait a few more minutes and realize that the person is not going to come down anytime soon. Fucking moron.

I park my car behind  car that was parked in my parking space. I quickly headed up to Elliot's apartment. I knew he was here due to the blue fact red that he's blue buggy was parked in his parking space.

I knocked on his door and yet to my surprise, it hadn't been closed properly. The door was slightly ajar and I didn't hesitate to walk in and there on the floor was Rufus, he roamed on the balcony.

Elliot was no where to be seen, he wasn't in his kitchen, nor was he in the lounge. I could hear distant voices in the background, which could only mean he was watching tv in his room.

Quietly, I walked over to his room and swung the door open. "Hey Elliot, oh my gosh I'm so sorry" quickly running out of his apartment even though I could hear footsteps following me.

Oh my goodness, I just wish I could unseen what I have just seen. Goodness somebody give me some goddamn soap for my eyes.

"Noelle, wait it's not what it looks like. Please just hear me out." He begins.
"No, no, no. It's exactly what it looks like, I'm sorry I shouldn't even have come to your house in the first place, I just wanted to know-"

My statement was interrupted by a brunette girl, who was only wrapped in a towel, calling Ethan to come back.

I glanced at her stare at Ethan before I gave him a fake smile. "I just wanted to know which stupid dog parked their car in my parking space." With that I jogged down the steps only to be interrupted. Again.

"Wait, hold up, did you just call me a stupid dog?" The brunette furiously questioned.

"I certainly did - or should a just call you a slut?" I reply.

Ethan and this brunette girl, who I found out was named Kirstin, were very shocked at my words. "Do you just go around calling people names? Huh?"

"No, never actually, only bitches like you," I say folding my arms over my chest and smirking. " I know a bitch when I see one although I can't say the same for Elliot."

"Listen Noelle, I had told her she could park her car there because I thought you would be out the whole day." He says putting his Hands up in the air.

"We'll you thought wrong and I would really appreciate it if your "girlfriend" or what ever she is to you, removes her car before I get back."

Intensively, I stared at them both before I trampled down the stairs and into my car. Furiously I slammed the door, before driving out of the complex.

I drive around the city of Seattle for a bit. This is what I was trying to avoid, another reason I was trying to stay unnoticed. Goodness Noelle, why, why,why am I like this. Argh, I scream as I hit my steering wheel. I could feel pedestrians looking towards my car.

Why do I keep doing this to myself, stop bringing unwanted attention to yourself. AAAARGH, there is a reason you left, remember that.

after a while of me driving to nowhere I decided to stop at restaurant and get some take always for tonight. The sign read "the lucky duck", a small Chinese restaurant. I stared at it for a moment or two before I walked in.

I ordered some chicken noodle soup and I drove back home and the only audible thing was the radio. I pulled up to the apartments to find that Kirstin girl was gone. Relieved, I grabbed the carton of food that was seated on the passenger seat and locked my car.

I walked up to my apartment only to stumble over my half empty box. I kicked it over to the side to prevent it from ever happening again. I placed the food on the counter and went to change into some sweat pants.

My boxes were still full and I really needed to unpack before the weekend. I head to the lounge with my food and start eating. I flipped through the channels and settled on Scream Queens.

Not long after the credits rolled onto my mini tv, there was a knock on the door. I fumbled with the lock, only to reveal Ethan and he didn't look so happy.

"Can we please talk?" He said.

Oh no.
