Demport, a horrid city. Never visit there. It's full of gang affiliation and 12 year old's living on the streets because their parents didn't like the way they dressed. It has all sort of quirky shops and skyscrapers-- to the point where many thinks the view is beautiful-- but don't ever visit there. The people who live there think it's a wonderful place, but don't believe what they say. They've never lived anywhere else, they've never seen anything better. So never, ever, visit there. However, there is a few residents who know their home isn't a place they want to be; they're currently sitting in a coffee shop, on the corner of Waith street. There's five of them, all unique in their own weird way.
Hunter is the barista with bubblegum pink hair with light blue tips. Her skin is pale and her freckles only cover under her eyes and her cheekbones. Shes got nose piercings and a few tattoos. Her nails are long and painted white, but a little red rose sits on her ring finger. She's cleaning up the table as she's talking to her friends; with the brightest smile you'll ever see.
At the far right you'll see a couple, both with purple hair and tanned skin. Bethany is the girl with long flowing hair pulled into a ponytail, where you can easily see the right side of her head is shaved. Her piercings cover her entire face, eyebrows, nose, lips, and even her dimples. Whatever wasn't pierced, was tattooed. Her jeans were torn and her boots were heeled, making her the tallest person in the group. Seth is the boy with fewer modifications, just a fixed nose from plastic surgery with a piercing on the bridge of it. His leather jacket was studded and his knuckled were tattooed with the date of him and his lovers birthdays (02/26/1995). His hair was a mess and his cheeks were quite chubby; if it weren't for the piercing and tattoos, you could say Seth looked like a child.
Opposite from the star-crossed lovers sat a boy with bright red hair. He was quite thin, a bit of a girly figure, really. His skin was freckled, smooth and almost untouched, only by a small tattoo on his forearm. He had almost as many freckles on his face as he did cat hairs on this grey sweatpants ( which he wore everywhere). His name was Timothy and he wasn't the most perfect being in the world. He was quite clumsy, and it seemed like every other week he'd break a bone. His nose was unproportionate to his face, which gave him an odd witch-y look to him.
And the last one, sitting on the end of the table, had golden eyes and curly black hair. Her figure was a perfect hourglass, emphasizing the white spots all over her body. This was Deliah, she was quite short no matter which shoes she wore, and her entire wardrobe consists crop tops and leather pants that brought out her wide hips. Her nails were painted a midnight blue, and she constantly tapped them on the table. Her eyes remained on Hunter the entire time, memorizing her beauty for when she has to go home. When Hunter was on her break she joined her group of friends, and sat in Deliah's lap.
"Seth and I are all saved up, do you guys know where you want to move to?" Bethany said, playing with her septum ring. Hunter shrugged.
"Personally, I want to move somewhere with snow." Timothy agreed with Hunter, and Deliah said she didn't care, as long as they lived together.
"God you guys are so gay." Bethany said. "It's making my coffee bitter." Timothy was suddenly uncomfortable, and started adjusting himself in his seat. "But I do agree, you don't see much snow out here. " A phone started to ring, causing the chatter in the coffee shop to quiet down. In Timothy's curiosity, he turned around to see who's phone was ringing so loudly. That's when he saw a tan man with long hair and striking eyes walking outside, answering the phone.
"Guys, I'll be right back." Timothy recognized who he was, and he followed him outside. The man had his left ear pierced, and a shining, golden ring on his finger. A black and red sweater was loosely tied around his acid washed jeans, and his t-shirt had minor tears; one in front of his left shoulder, and a few down near the seam at the bottom. "Anthony?" Timothy said, certain the person he was talking to was who he thought. The man turned around and looked at Timothy, he hung up his phone call and nervously smiled.
"Timothy! Hi! I didn't think I'd see you around here today, what is uh, going on?" Anthony said.
"Yeah, I'm here with my friends. How have you been?" The longer Timothy looked at him the awkwarder the situation got.
"Fine, fine. Been busy. You know, the whole daughter thing." Timothy noticed the gold shine coming from his left hand.
"Are you wearing a ring? I thought you said you were divorced?" Timothy pointed out the gold band around Anthony's finger. He reached for his hand and at first, Anthony resisted. But when he gave in, Timothy became to get confused.
"I... I'm not. Carol and I never divorced."
"Oh, so you're... separated?" Anthony shook his head, knowing he was going to upset Timothy gravely.
"No we, we figured things out. Just recently." Timothy pulled his hand back, nearly stupefied. "It's why I haven't been answering your calls. Timmy, I'm sorry."
"You lied to me for a year?" Timothy tried in all his power not to cry in public.
"No, no. Only for five months." Anthony's phone began to ring again, he checked his screen to see the caller. Timothy started the break down at the sight of a contact named "Carol", with a heart right next to it. As Anthony answered the phone, Timothy began to walk home. Once he reached his apartment building his phone buzzed. Hunter texted him.
'Timmy where are you? Why'd you just leave?' Timothy sighed and started typing away.
'It's Anthony, we're not a thing anymore. Apparently he and his wife worked things out. He didn't bother to tell me within the last 5 months.' Timothy sulked in the elevator, going all the way up to the fifteenth floor. He opened the door to his apartment and collapsed on the couch. Hunter kept calling him, but he had fallen asleep and slept through every buzz and ding.
Hunter wished Timothy would pick up the phone, unaware he had fallen asleep. She was still at the coffee shop with everyone else, and their conversation had escalated to the party Hunter and Deliah were throwing that night. Understanding he wasn't going to pick up, Hunter went back inside and joined in on the conversation.
"Deliah if you don't bring a keg I will slaughter you." Seth joked. "Seriously though, this is the first party where we can't get arrested for underage drinking."
"I know I know. Everything's set up and dandy. I've got everyone's friends invited." Deliah said. "This party is going to be so sick.
