I felt a finger slide down my jaw line as I felt thick lips gently peck the side of mouth .
My eyes fluttered open to see him.
He smiled " You looked so beautiful while you we're sleep ."
I smirked and sat up in my bed .
" What you want Mel ?"
He frowned then chuckled .
" Why you always think I want some ?"
I stretched and yawned.
"Cwase wou ollwayzzzz doooooo"
I said while still yawning
He looked at me an scrunched his face .
" Look Stank Mouth go brush yo teeth then talk to me ."
I covered my mouth in embarrassment and ran to the bathroom .
After I got done doing my hygiene thing in the bathroom I went downstairs . There he sat with he's feet on my coffee table like it was his damn house .
" So stank Mouth got herself all dolled up huh ?"
I rolled my eyes at his comment and went into the kitchen . I started to reach for a bowl in the cabinet . Sadly with my 4'9 height I had to nearly get on top of the kitchen counter . I felt a pair of hands wrap around each side of my waist and lift me up . I grabbed the bowl and was let down .
I felt a cold chill go down my spin as Mel kissed my temples.He let go of me just to pick me up again and set me down on the counter .
" I wanna take you out tonight ." he said as me stole a kiss.
I got very flustered and started to mess with the bowl .
He took it out my hands and made me look at him .
" Don't you dare act shy around me ". he smiled then checked his his phone . " I gotta go beautiful but text Ight ?" and with that left my house .
After that I made myself some cereal and sat in my couch reminiscing on the events that just took place this morning, when I heard a knock on the door . I got up and made my to the door as the person on the other side started to get very impatient and started to bang on my door.
I swung it open surprised to see my ex .Dennis .
He gave me a weak smile . " I'm sorry" he said as he barged in with blue roses .
I stood there irritated , I started taping my foot against the floor .
" Keep your sorry leave the flowers then see your way out ." I said while I made my way back to the couch .
He grabbed my arm . " Look I miss you . I want to be with you . I was young and dumb then ."
I laughed " so you grew up in two weeks ?" I shook my head .
His jaw clenched " Don't be like that Jessica..... I mean Jamie..... No Angela ? Janelle ? Jasmine that's it Jasmine " he said mostly talking to himself .
He paused as I just starred at him .
" No the fuck you didn't get me confused with other bitches ?" I grabbed the candle on the table and set the roses on fire , I through them at him as his pants leg caught on fire .
He squealed like a little girl trying to get it out .
I went into the kitchen and grabbed gasoline I use to grill and walked back into the living room .
He was still trying to get the fire out of the roses .
I snuck passed him outside and walked to his car . When I looked inside was a girl . She had to be no older than me . Twirling her hair and pooping her gum . I started laughing , and poured the gasoline on the car .
She looked at me and started saying some shit in Spanish .
" No me hablo español perra culo feo". I was lying like a bitch she was fucking gorgeous but Ya know ."
Then she said some shit while I started lighting the car up . She ran out the car and started yelling . That's when Dennis ass runs outside and starts panicking . I stood there just admiring the glow when all of sudden someone put out the fire . I wipe out of my trance and seen it was Dennis with a bucket full of water still trying to get the fire out .
" What the fuck Jasmine ? I knew your ass was crazy but not this crazy ! You could've killed my girlfriend ...."
I ran my hands the through my hair " Fuck you D". I walked away back into my house and sat down on the couch .
I could see him and the Spanish girl arguing and then both of them getting into the car and leaving . I started to think about the first time he cheated on me . I was at work and got off early , I walked into the house and headed into the bed room when I heard noises . I peaked inside and seen and her in MY bed .
I really never got to see nor know the name of the hoe he was cheating on me with . That day all I seen was red and that was just the blood coming out her nose PTW on her ass . I also seen black and blue if you know what I mean .
I looked at my clock and nearly busted my ish . Running upstairs getting ready to take a shower for work seems like imma be late today .
I ran out the elevator still putting myself together . As my secretary / bestfriend awaited for me in my office .
" You have a meeting in eight minutes . Cathy on third floor says that Fellis is firing Keisha so that promotion job is being re-opened ."
she said while helping me fix my hair . In four minutes flat I was in the meeting set up and awaiting my boss and fellow coworkers .
As the room started to fill up I got a text message from Mel.
Mel : I'm picking you up at 12 over your break . be ready or else ;)
Me: rain check ?
Mel: •••
I felt bad about canceling but I knew had tons of paperwork to do if I wanted that promotion.
Mel : •••
27 minutes later ....
Mel : like I said I'm outside so hurry yo pretty ass up .
I sighed as I read the message . I'll just have to work late tonight . I got up from my desk and headed toward the elevator. Once I made it to the front of the building I was greeted with open arms and a pearly white smile .
"Hello beautiful " Mel greeted me looking me up and down .
I smiled sadly " Hi Mel " .
He frowned " What's the matter ? you don't love me nomore ? is it because I called you stank mouth ?" he chuckled lightly at his own joke .
" No , there's an opening for a promotion and I have tons of paper work to do if I want to be eligible ." I said all in one breath .
He looked at the ground and then at me . " We'll if you go out with me right now I'll help you with your paper work ?".
I hesitated then smiled . " Deal ! "
We got in the car and headed towards Applebee's .
I combined Chpt. 2 with 1 to make it longer . I'm editing the whole story so be prepared for updates and two new stories in the next few weeks .
