Rocks were hitting my window and I just kept ignoring it. I glanced at my clock every minute. The clanging of the rocks hitting my window was getting super annoying. I stood up and unlocked my window shoving it open.
"What do you want?" I asked, I stuck my head out the window and saw Dylan.
"Paige throw down the..." Dylan started to say.
"I know I know you want the ladder," I said, I walked to my closet and grabbed the rope ladder. I walked back over to the window and threw it down for Dylan to climb it. I trudged back over to my bed and went on with my research. Dylan walked over to me and slammed my books shut.
"Party tonight, we can figure this out tomorrow," he said, I sighed, stood up, and went to my closet.
"What do you think looks good on me?" I said I shuffled through all my clothes, "ugh I have nothing cute!"
"Everything you wear is cute," he replied, walking over to my bed and sitting down.
I grabbed my turquoise henna printed crop top, black leggings, combat boots, and flannel.
"This good?"
"Perfect."
"You gonna get out so I can change?"
"Change in your damn closet!"
"Fine. *asshole*, I muttered, opening my closet door and walking in. I changed into my outfit and grabbed my hair stuff and makeup. I walked out of my closet and over to my mirror, avoiding eye contact. I put on my eye shadow, mascara, and lip stick and curled my hair. I glanced at the clock. 4:58 was displayed on the screen.I walked over to my door.
"We should go downstairs, people should be coming soon," I said opening the door. Dylan sprang off my bed and slammed the door shut. He told me to go over to where my closet was. I walked slowly over and leaned against the door. Dylan slid across the floor to me and grabbed my face.
"I know who you like," he said.
"Oh you do?" I asked confused.
"Yes Paige and I like you too." He leaned down to kiss me right when my mom walked in.
"Paige, people are starting to... Did I interrupt something," she said backing out of the doorway.
I pulled away quickly, "No you didn't mom."
"Oh well people are starting to arrive," she said and walked out of my room.
"What were you saying?" I asked. I leaned up and felt his breath on my lips.
"The party has arrived!" Someone yelled from behind the door. They pushed the door open and walked in.
I pulled away so fast I fell onto the floor.
"Ow shit!" I yelled.
"Paige, why are you on the ground?" Viola asked.
"Why do you think?" I said. Dylan reached out his hand.
"Need help up?" He asked. I put my hands on the ground and pushed up.
"No I'm good," I said standing up and walking to the door, "Dylan we better just go downstairs people are going to keep interrupting us. I walked out the door and felt a hand on my shoulder.
"One day," said Dylan. He ran down the stairs.
"Ooh you and Dylan huh," Tyler said.
"No we are just friends," I said punching Tyler lightly.
"You hit like a girl," he said, "want to see how a real man punches?" He punched me lighter than I punched him.
"Ow that hurt so much," I told him, I sat on the steps and started laughing, "To be honest that was pathetic, you don't have the balls to actually punch me."
"Fine then I will," he replied. He pulled back his arm but instead of punching me he grabbed my head and kissed me.
Little did I know Dylan was watching from the bottom of the stairs.
He let me go and I pulled away.
"What the hell Tyler!" I cried. I tried to stand up but Tyler pulled me back down.
"Paige, me and you. We.... We have something," Tyler said.
"But what about Viola?!" I yelled.
"Yeah, what the hell Tyler I can't believe you. I thought we had something!" Viola yelled crying.
"Viola, come here," he said. This was all my fault I let him kiss me. I ran down the steps and saw Dylan standing there frozen.
"Dylan, it meant nothing he just kissed me I promise. I never wanted that to happen. I promise," I said running to the door. I opened it and saw Jade, snowflakes clinging to her coat.
A couple hours later Alex was the last to arrive. And we were all upstairs. As soon as she got into my room we all knew what to do. Play truth or dare. I already knew what my dare was going to be it was obvious my friends hate me so it's going to be to kiss Dylan. They know I like him, they know he likes me. They have been planning me and his kiss since well forever. I just don't really want it to be like this, playing truth or dare. I want it to be like it was in sixth grade. Me and him standing at a park. I had my arms around his waist, his arms around my shoulders. I kissed his cheek and he kissed mine. We hugged and he pulled away. Then the next thing I knew his lips were on mine, the soft, warm, kiss.
It was perfect for my first kiss. And for it to be with him was even better. We broke up when we were southmores because I found out he liked Jade. Yes I know it wasn't really my "first kiss" because it was in sixth grade. But still it was the first time my lips touched a boys lips and me actually liking the boy. I still do, I probably always will. There is no denying that. But it will never happen now because of Tyler. We sat in the circle, me sitting next to Dylan and Viola.
"Viola truth or dare?" I asked, looking over to her.
"Dare," she said, glaring.
"I dare you to kiss Tyler," I said, smiling.
"I do not want to kiss that asshat!" She yelled.
"Excuse me?" He said, looking at her.
"You have to you already used a chicken." I said. They leaned in and what I thought would be a peck was a long passionate kiss.
"Oh shit!" Jade yelled.
"Okay, you wanna play that game Paige?" Viola said, smirking.
"No no no no!" I said, looking at Dylan.
"Paige truth or dare," she said, I sighed, knowing I have to choose dare.
"Dare," I said, holding my breath.
"I dare you to hold Dylan's hand," she said, smiling. I released the breath.
"Really that's all, huh I thought you were going to make me kiss him," I said. I grabbed Dylan's hand.
"Kids it's time to come downstairs and watch the ball drop!" My mom yelled from down stairs, we all ran down. I jumped over the back of the couch, sitting on it.
"Smooth Paige," Dylan said, sitting next to me. He put his arm around me and I leaned into him, putting my head on his shoulder and my hand on his chest.
"I got the shots!" Viola yelled, my mom stared at her.
"What now?" She asked, glaring.
"It's fruit punch," she said, handing her one. Viola went around and gave everyone one. When the ball drops we drink.
"Ten, Nine, Eight, Seven, Six, Five, Four, Three, Two, One!" We all yelled, the ball dropped and we all took a drink.Hi guys so I haven't updated this in forever but here is chapter two!
