Timothy's POV

I walked along the sandy beach in Cannon Beach Oregon, god it felt great to be outside and not in the four white walls of the Prison cell. Ten years did something to a boy... it turned the boy into a man. I breathed in deeply enjoying the feel of the clean salt air flowing into my lungs.

Everyone in Hammond knew why I was in prison, but they had it coming to them. I snorted when i thought of them, my parents. if my brother hadn't come home early I would've gotten away with it too. My father lost more than his life that night... he lost his dignity as well. Begging for his life and not doing anything about it.

I was going to be smarter this time... I will find someone who no one will miss and pretend to love them, gain their trust. Then when they least expect it, I will kill them. That's why I was here after all, to find someone worthy to kidnap. That's when I saw her. Brown hair all the way to her waist, in a skimpy Bikini. Staring at the backs of a couple with kids silently crying. I decided it was now or never, and walked up to her.

"Miss, are you okay?" I asked softly, forming my face into the perfect look of worry.

She jumped and turned to look at me, her startled blue-grey eyes met my calm ones. "Yes, I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You look a little young to be on the beach alone, where are your parents?" I whispered.

"Over there," She said, gesturing to the retreating couple, starting to cry again.

That's when I understood. "Did they leave you?" I asked.

Her bottom lip quivered and she looked down. "Yeah they did," she admitted.

"Do you wanna just come with me?" I offered. "You can crash with me tonight and then I will take you to where you live tomorrow."

She thought about it for a good ten minutes before she said anything. then she looked up at me with a tear streaked face, her eyes connecting with mine. "Okay." She whispered.

"Okay, come on," I said leading her to the parking lot in Hug Point. And led her to my car and took a shirt out of the back and handed it to her. "Here, you look cold." she took it from me with a small smile on her face and slipped it on over her head. Hook, line, and sinker. She sure didn't make that hard. I thought, opening the passenger side for her. She slid in and buckled up and I smiled at her as I started the car after I got into the driver's side. Then I started to head to Arch Cape.
