You had ran off one day when your dad told you that he was a shadowhunter, and so was your mom.
You always knew something was up when you asked your best friend if he saw that guy with the crazy tattoos... Turns out ur friend thinks you're crazy she was the one that told your mom. She said and I quote " she tells me she sees the crazy stuff tattoo people,men with cat eyes ,and a woman had fangs the other day"
So you ran off and found a guy with the tattoos then followed him all the way too the New York institute.
Then months later your dad paid a visit to have walked in to you training where Jace always pulls the move where he lets you knock him down then pulls you down too .
How do you think he reaches to his daughter laying on top of a boy .... Well his reaction change after he talked to Jace.
Jace knows the rules so your dad feels somewhat better but now Maryse was supposed to watch u
Alec
Well you're mother and father is dead so Alec parents instead they were away when u got together reaction days later when Jace couldn't keep his mouth shut about when he walked in on you two it wasn't bad as what you've seen between them but still.
Maryse had came in before Robert but the both heard the took Alec out to talk to him.
They wanted someone worthy of being a lightwood and strong enough fast smart, but importantly the had to be from a good family.
They didn't even know your true last name your adopted mother didn't know no one did.
You started to cry but then got upset they couldn't rule his life anymore it doesn't matter to them , you stormed to the room where they were and told them that.
You also said that you try and are getting better but could never fix your past but you loved their son that should matter most to them.
Maryse and Robert don't say much to you anymore.
Simon
You grew up together the most your dad said was "I called it (your moms name) you owe me $50"
Your mom bet on clary to get together with Simon but she was very happy for you.
Magnus
Your parents died when Valentine took over but they told you "be with someone that makes you happy no matter the color of their skin religious beliefs gender make yourself happy not someone else"
You and Magnus were very happy besides that one day you will die when he lives.

You had a protective father very protective with what happened to his sister he couldn't let that happen to you.

Well he found you sneaking off one day to your meadow with Sebastian, he stop seeing you as often because people got suspicious.
Your dad was furious he ran up to you where he was hiding and lectures you both and not having to know what to say Sebastian stepped in and explained.
You're dad is still mad but now you have to tell him before you sneak off.
