Lucy's P.O.V.

"I can explain...."I said "Then speak up."they said in unison "They're Nicole's kids."I said pulling the kids near me "First you leave,"Ana paused "Leave us with no connection with you,"Christine continued and paused "A surprise return,"Reign continued and paused "With kids."Ace ended "Not just kids, but Nicole's kids."Ashley said a bit louder than the murmurs around me "Yeah, Nicole's kids----WAIT, WHAT?!"they all screamed "They're Nicole's kids?"I said quite confused "How did you get them?"Mom asked from behind me "Uncle. He made me protect them, so I brought them here. Nicole's parents are dead, cops found their body in a sewer."I said "God, that's awful."Reign exclaimed making disgusted faces "What about their father?"Christine asked pointing at the kids "They found his body the day after I arrived in Japan. Same goes with his parents."I filled them in "Poor kids."Ashley replied "What's your name?"JC asked the twins "Tanner," "Tyler,"and JC nodded "Tanner? Isn't that a boy's name?"JC asked and my little niece started shaking her head "I'm Tamara Nicole Sander Alvarez."she said with a smile and they faced me again "Let's open the gifts."I suggested and they nodded, then I ran inside to get my gifts for them and returned to the living room with the gifts "Ok, let's give gifts one at a time."mom said and we nod in agreement "Reign, you first."JC ordered and she got out of her seat and approached the tree and grabbing all the gifts she brought which was exactly the same amount as the people in this room and we opened the gifts we got from her, and I got a cute earrings with rabbit design and it continued until it came to me, I was the last one to give my gifts and I got Ana a charm bracelet, Jake received a black watch while Josh received the same watch as his brother but a blue one, Reign got a dress from me, I gave Ace a pair of arnis, Christine got a cute blue teddy while Ashley and Ashwell got a pair of phone cases and I got JC a locket with our picture inside and as for the twins I got them a twin teddy and as for my mom, I bought her a travel ticket of her choice and it made me smile that I was able to spend my Christmas with them when my phone played a familiar tone and when I fished it out I saw my Uncle's name flash through the screen and my face fell, but I didn't have a choice I needed to finish what I came here for.

Reign's P.O.V.

We finished giving gifts when Lucy's phone blasted a familiar tone that we were dreading to hear and when she stared at her phone screen and her face fell and she left us to answer her phone and we wanted to listen but Ana stopped them from eavesdropping and their face fell wanting nothing but listen to Lucy and afterwards she came back with a blank expression "Mom, cancel the trip."Lucy blurted and her mom faced her surprised "Nobody's leaving the house tonight."we all nodded and we all went to the largest room in this house and stayed there, getting all cosy and everything but Lucy was looking out of the window which scared me because something bad was gonna happen when the twins started crying and I approached them trying to calm them down and it was working slowly and they were falling asleep "What now?"I asked "Now, nothing but wait."Lucy answered and all I could do is nod and laid the twins on one of the sheets settled on the floor and smiled at their sleeping figures and went back to where I was sitting before the twins cried and it was getting boring in here and Lucy had left her position staring at the window and let the curtains fall covering the window, after a few more minutes we heard a noise and I strained my ears to hear what the sound was and I think it was small rocks hitting the glass window and Lucy being the one nearest from the window, got up and moved the curtain a bit and she was surprised when a small rock hit the window again and she just let it pass and grabbed her phone calling someone "Uncle, I think they're here."she said taking another peek outside "The twins are asleep so I guess it'll be easy for us to protect them."and looked at the kids "I'll do everything to protect them."and she looked up at me "I definitely found the right one."she said never leaving her gaze from me and she said yes to the other line and ended the call "We just protect the kids."and we heard someone shouting outside and Lucy didn't think twice to get out of the house and saying that we aren't scared is a lie and right now the only thing we want to do is stop her, but how.

Ace's P.O.V.

Seeing my girl like that pains me and I got up and tried if I can give a command or if they would even obey me "We need to help Lucy."I spoke up and they looked up at me "How? We need to protect the kids."Reign said "Ashley, Ashwell. I know you can fight very well, so I ask you to help Lucy with the enemy."I ordered looking at them and they nodded following my orders "JC follow them and the rest along with me will stay here and protect the kids."I finished and they nodded following my orders "Reign wake the kids up, that way it'll be easy to protect them."and my girl did as I said and I smiled, I just hope everything goes well.

Ana's P.O.V.

I just hope everything goes well or maybe we all spoke too soon because after Reign managed to wake the kids the enemies had entered.
