"Stupid lawn mower!"

Dipper kicked frustrated at the old, rustic machine as it spluttered up broken grass fronds. Sighing angrily, he took his hat off and sat next to it, leaning tiredly against the frame. He watched his sister through eyes of jealously - she was rolling in the grass playfully with her pet pig, enjoying the crisp grass. Waddles' hooves scrabbled wildly when he turned upside down and his back reached a cold spot. Mabel laughed at the pigs funny-sounding squealing, looking as if she didn't notice her brother at all. Purposefully, he slapped loudly at the fresh cut grass, eventually gaining his sister's attention. Mabel tilted her head as if she was a confused dog.

"What's wrong with you, Larry long-face?" Awkwardly, she laughed at her own joke. Dipper stared at her with agitation, putting his hat back on.

"Dipper. Not Larry."

"Fine then... Soppy Shaun! Come on, Dipper! Admit, it's hilarious!" Bursting out with laughter once again, Mabel rolled up and down the fronds, swaying them across her vibrant pink sweater.

Dipper then abruptly punched the broken-down lawn mower with a tightly clenched fist. With anger and frustration, he yelled.

"Why am I always the one who has to do these stupid jobs? Why doesn't Stan choose you?!"

Mabel shrugged carelessly, too distracted by Waddles' funny squeaking to reply. Yet again, Dipper sighed and leaned his chin against his hand sulkily. He waited for his great uncles demand, something like 'Dipper, do your work' or 'Hurry up Dipper', but it didn't come. All he heard was the same old laughing and squealing of Mabel and Waddles.

After two minutes of sitting silently, pondering about how his uncle was unfair to him, something finally happened. Raising his gaze, Dipper looked forward to see an unfamiliar car pulling up in front of the shack. His eyes narrowed with thought.

Must be some new tourists or something...

He shrugged, then stood up and observed the car as two male figures opened the doors. They looked like normal people, so he still believed that they were in fact tourists.

Dean closed the door in sync with Sam, his gaze scanning the scene. As he spotted Dipper, his gaze instantly flicked to Sam and made him smirk. Sam stared at him with confusion, pausing weirdly.

".. What?"

Shrugging with amusement, Dean mumbled to him.

"Aren't you scared? It's a midget."

Sam gave Dean a look of disgust, and that only made his brother laugh harder. He rolled his eyes at him, then he turned to face the shack. Casually, he started to approach the young stranger with Dean by his side, now calmed from his amusement. Out of nowhere, Dean made him stop a couple of metres away from the kid.

"There's another one over there. You go question the girl. I reckon you two could have some fun braiding each others hair."

Sam widened his eyes, then opened his mouth to make a backfired remark. Then he paused, thinking logically for a bit - he realized that at least he didn't have to deal with a male going through puberty. Sighing loudly, he replied with a stroppy voice.

".. Fine." Immediately, he turned to the girl and headed for her so that he didn't have to hear another one of his brother's remarks again. Dean shrugged, then approached the boy.

"Uh, you home alone or something, kid?" Dipper stared up at the stranger with a frown, then he spoke with a somewhat defensive tone.

"Who are you to ask?"

Rolling his eyes, Dean brought out an ID and opened it to show the kid.

"I'm a Federal Marshall. Me and my partner are here for Stanford Pines." Dipper narrowed his eyes suspiciously. Without care, he snatched the ID out of the stranger's hand and read it carefully. Dean widened his eyes with surprise, then instantly snatched it back.

"Hey! Stupid kid.." Dipper raised an eyebrow daringly at him, his arms crossed into a professional posture.

"John Bonham. Sounds like something I've heard before, but I can't remember where. Also, a so called 'Federal Marshall' doesn't sound like the type of guy who'd call a kid stupid." Dean stared at the kid with bewilderment, then he frowned, clenching his fists with frustration.

"Alright, smartass. Stop wasting my time. Where's-"

"OH MY GOD!"

Dean and Dipper's heads both whipped around at the same time to see who made the loud remark: Mabel. Sam was crouched down to her height, trying to ask her questions. Yet her eyes glittered excitedly at the sight of Sam's hair.

"Oh my God, oh my God, OH MY GOD! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!" She reached out a hand, trying to stroke it, but Sam quickly reacted and pushed away her hand hesitantly. Her smile slowly died away as Sam pushed her hand further away from his hair. Hastily, Sam stood up and headed swiftly over to Dean. Dean started to laugh as the girl tried again. With annoyance, Dipper glared over at his sister.

"Mabel, stop fangirling. Look, he's in a suit. He's not your new-"

"CAN YOU BE MY NEW BOYFRIEND?" Ignoring Dipper, she interrupted the remark, too fascinated by the Marshall's beautiful brown hair. Sam awkwardly took another step towards his brother, straightening his collar and clearing his throat. With an entertained grin, Dean approached the girl, leaving Dipper and Sam. He took a glance down at the girl, narrowing his eyes at her exaggerated appearance. Mabel stared up at the bold figure with excitement as thoughts raced through her mind.

Two awesome - looking boyfriends? I'm gonna be fabulous!

Dean stared down at the girl with a look of  bewilderment, yet he shook his head and got to the point.

"Do you know where Stanford Pines is? I tried to ask Einstein over there, but I didn't get too far with him." For a couple of moments, Mabel stared up at him with glistening eyes and a massive grin. Then, she realized that he had asked her something. Awkwardly, she cleared her throat.

"Huh? Oh, you mean Grunkle Stan. He's in the shack."

"Could you get him for-"

"GRUNKLE STAN! SOME COOL GUY WANTS YOU OUT HERE!"

Widening his eyes with an unexpected look, he stared down at her. Mabel, noticing his look, gave him a friendly grin.

"I shout loud. It's GREAT women material." She stuck her thumb up, signalling his response compliment.

"Uh... Oka-"

"ALRIGHT, JEEZ, I'M COMING!" A new, more older - sounding voice erupted from the shack. As Sam approached Dean, they both stared at the building with expectant eyes as the figure headed towards them.
