Toriel leads me to the next room, which is a room with leaves over the floor, and two sets of stairs on either side which lead to a doorway in the centre of the upper floor. The next room has buttons on the floor and a switch.

"Welcome to your new home! Down here everything is operated by puzzles like the one here." She points to the buttons. "Let me show you. She completes the puzzle and a door opens.

"Wow! That's cool!" I say in fascination.

We walk through the door, after taking each other's hand again.

"To progress here, we will need to trigger several switches... Why don't you see if you can solve it?" She says. I nod and look around. There are two streams with wooden bridges. There is also a path with two parts leading off to two switches. Tori is standing infront of some spikes at the end of the room.
I follow the paths and flick the switches at the end of them.

"Wonderful! I am proud of you, Willow. Come, let us proceed." She takes my hand again as we walk.
"Now, as a human living in the underground, monsters may try and attack you. This is called a fight. However, if you merely talk to them, I will come and resolve any conflict. Here, practice talking to the dummy." I walk over to the dummy.

"Hello, how are you?" I ask it. It states at me blankly. "Hey... I won't hurt you, you can tell me anything..." I smile to it.

"I... I..." I starts, I am slightly taken aback, so is Toriel, it seems, but we try not to show it. "I came here to find a vessel... But now I can't move... And I can't leave... My cousins have abandoned me... I doubt they even know where I am..." It seems sad.

"Would you like it if I could find a way to help you?" I ask.

"Yes... That would be nice... I think this dummy has been bolted to the ground..." It says.
I look, and indeed it has been bolted.

"Tori? Can you help with this?" I ask.

"Yes, if you move out the way..." She comes over as I move out the way. She seems to use some kind of magic to unbolt the dummy, which then floats in the air.

"Is that better?" I ask.

"Much, much better! Thank you, human!" It says happily. "Hey, if you'd like, I can help you with your quest, if you have one? It's the least I can do!"

"Well, I don't have a quest as such, but you can certainly be my friend and support me if necessary." I say happily.

"Certainly, human friend!" They say.

"The name's Willow, what's yours?" I say tipping an imaginary hat.

"Oh! My name is Buddy! Short for Buddyblook!" They say.

"What a very nice and fitting name!" I smile.

"Here, why don't we move on?" Tori suggests.

"Okay!" I say taking her hand.

"Oh, Queen Toriel, is this a new child that you are adopting?" Buddy asks.

"Please, I am no longer the Queen, and I am not adopting the child as such... More... Having them as a roommate..." Toriel says.

"You used to be Queen?" I question, but before I get an answer, we reach some spikes. "How do we get past this?!" I exclaim.

"Keep holding my hand, and trust me." Tori says calmly.
I do as she says, and we manage to cross the spikes, since they would go down when we walked on them on a specific path.

"Oh..." I say as we reach the other side.

"You have done excellently thus far... Actually... No... I will not do that, for it would be unnecessary and irrisponsible of me." She says.
We walk down a long hallway, with a singular pillar at the end.

"So... You were Queen?" I ask again.

"Oh, yes... That's something that once was..." She says. "Do you have a cellphone?" She asks.

"Yeah, I hope it's still intact.." I say, I pull out my phone from my bag. A stuffed bear falls out in the process, along with a pencil. "Oh... Oops..." I put the toy and the pencil back in the bag. "Here!" I hold out my phone.

"I have never seen anything like that..." Tori says with awe. "Well, anyway, here is my number incase you need to call me." She hands me a slip of paper, and I put the number in my phone. "So... I did not notice before, but you have brought things with you... Why is that?"

"I was intending to stay down here, and now I think that is definitely what I will do. It's a lot nicer down here, than up there." I say. "I brought clothes, books I haven't read yet, sketch books and pencils... I brought some food and drink as well..."

"You draw?" Buddy asks.

"Oh! Yeah! That's certainly one of the things I do... I also write... And... I... I can't publish my stories now because there's no internet... No internet... I can't watch my favourite YouTubers... I did not think this through..." I come to a realization.

"Oh! We do have internet down here! It's probably just more magical that you're used to..." Tori assures me.

"Oh, thank Lord..." I breathe a sigh of relief.

"We should probably get going" Buddy says.

"Yeah... I'm getting kinda tired..." I agree.

We walk through the ruins, all the puzzles are already solved, or easy to solve. In one room however, there is a ghost on the floor. It is pretending to be asleep.

"Napstablook?" Tori asks softly. The ghost gets up and looks at us.

"Oh...... Toriel....... I'm sorry if I got in your way......." They say.

"It's alright, we are sorry to disturb you." Tori smiles patiently.

"B-Blooky?" Buddy sounds shocked. "Oh! My dear cousin it's been so long since I saw you!"

"Buddy......?" Blooky says. "It has been a while...... It's nice to see you again...." He seems to cheer up a bit.

I go over and hug the ghost. "You're really cute, it's not fair that you're sad... I understand it's not your fault, but I want to help make you happy." I say quietly before letting him go.

"Oh wow..... I've never met anyone so nice..... You don't even know me.... Thank you, you've cheered me up... See you around, I guess." He then proceeds to disappear into thin air.

"You're a really nice person, you know that?" Tori says.

"I don't really think about it much, but I suppose I am..." I say smiling. I like Blooky.

We continue on, any monsters that would have attacked me are too scared by Toriel, but I still try to be nice to them. We come to a tree, with all the leaves which have fallen off, and they don't seem like they're going to stay on at any point either. We walk further and end up infront of a cute, tidy house.

"Here, this is my house!" Tori says happily, as we proceed to walk in.
