Hotels...
There are good ones and there are bad ones.
I recently stayed in a good one. They had comfortable beds literally 2 TVs in our room, free Wi-Fi, complementary breakfasts, and it was an all around good experience. The good hotels I've stayed in are Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn. Then, there's Doubletree. I might be a bit biased because I had a terrible cold at the time but first things first, their tissues were literally pieces of paper. Scratchy on my nose, you don't know what I would do for a soft tissue sometimes. So we had to get dinner obviously and I got onion soup. I just wanted a nice, simple dinner. IT WAS SERVED IN AN ONION! Not to mention I had a cold, so I could hardly taste anything but in that soup, all I could taste were spices. It was so overspiced. Then I got some cheesecake, my favorite dessert and I COULDN'T TASTE ANYTHING! And you had to pay for the Wi-Fi!!! I had just come from the airport ready to watch some nice calming videos to distract me from my sickness and then you just had to pay for the Wi-Fi and I didn't have any data on my phone at the time so I just had to sit there with my sick self and do nothing with my eyes watering. And they didn't have free breakfast. Literally the only good thing about that hotel is that there were free cookies. And what's worse is that I didn't even have to stay there. It was a connecting flight but our flight was canceled (I don't think I've ever flown on a flight that wasn't canceled) so we could've taken the option to fly back that night but we didn't. Thank you and bye.December 18, 2016
