December 7th
You groaned as you heard your alarm go off. 6 am already? You stumbled out of bed and made your way to the shower. You jumped in letting the hot water hit your back.
Shortly after your shower, you made some breakfast. Since it was the first official day of Christmas break, you made a big breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, and milk. You sat on the couch as you watched the morning news and chomped on your breakfast. You got bored so you flipped through the channels. Finding nothing interesting you turned it off.
You cleaned up your mess and started to get ready. You put on a red shirt with a jean jacket. You pulled on some jeans afterwards. You grabbed your bag and stared for the door. You stopped in front of the mirror.
You looked at yourself and sighed. Then you put on that fake smile of yours before you head out the door.
You sat at your usual spot at Central Perk. You came here just about every single day during the school year. Shortly after your coffee arrived. You were such a common customer that now you don't even have to order anymore.
You sipped on your hot peppermint mocha as you heard the bells on the door ring. You turned your head to see a short male walk in. He looked freezing, but his smile never left his face.
He walked around greeting everyone with "good morning" and "good day." His smile grew bigger as he saw you. You returned your weak smile as he turned around and headed towards the counter. He received his coffee and wandered around looking for a place to sit.
He laid eyes on you and started walking towards you. He sat in the seat in front of you and smiled. "I see you here all the time, but I never had the guts to talk to you," he said in a shy tone. His voice was soft and gentle.
To be honest, you've seen him all the time too, but you never thought about talking to him. You thought he was another usual customer like you. You didn't know what to say so you just laughed and fiddled with your fingers.
"I'm Yoosung Kim, by the way. And you are?" he motioned for you to reply. "Y/n, y/n l/n," you replied with a small and fake grin. "That's a beautiful name," he smiled. "Really? I don't think my parents," you gulped. Flash backs of the crash came to mind.
You zoned out until you felt a hand rest on your arm. "Y/n, are you alright?" he asked in a worried tone. You pulled your arm away. "Yeah I'm fine. I just zoned out for a bit. Don't worry," you stiffened.
"Are you sure you're alright?" he asked worryingly. "Yeah, I just need some fresh air," you mumbled as you walked out of the cafe. You breathed in the cold air and released the hot fog from your mouth. You felt a warm tear slide down your face. "No," you whispered.
You promised yourself you would stop crying. You felt a hand touch your shoulder making you jump. More tears slid down your face, but you instantly wiped them away. "Y/n, y-you forgot your bag," you heard Yoosung say with his gentle and warming voice.
"Thank you, Yoosung," you sighed as you turned around and took your bag from him. "I'll see you around okay, Yoosung?" you started walking backwards. "Of course! Will you be here tomorrow?" he smiled for the thousandth time.
"Uh huh," you mumbled. "Same place?" You laughed. "Of course." He laughed too. "Well, I'll see you around, y/n," he waved as you made your way across the street. "Bye Yoosung," you said as you turned around and headed towards the mall.

+ Update, I don't know why I was using Elena as a model or whatever, but you are yourself in this. ❤️
