Okay so I was searching around on Tumblr and I found this. I don't know if it has a proper AU name or not, but I couldn't find one so I suppose it doesn't. Ah well. It was an neat concept that I became a fan of.
Basically it's Steven Universe, but the gems tend to act more like animals because as the artist who created says "I imagine them evolved from space cats" or something. Anyways that means they do animal things. Growl, hiss, walk on fours, pounce, etc. They are also capable of acting just like humans. They also possess features such as claws and pointed teeth.
