We look so similar to both angels and humans, God himself gives us markings of animal ears and a tail that functionally allows us to shape-shift at will even if we have more than one marking. If we are ever lucky our soul will be born into the Human World...but few souls remember their past life in the kingdom, or even return because of the loss of power.
