Okay I'm telling you the apps I(clutterbucket-harts) use. I don't really know about the other members.
1.
you can use polarr for tons of filters. You can also make your own filters.

PicsArt haves lots of effects. There are also some filters you can use.
3.
On Phonto there is a lot of great fonts you can use. You can also download fonts for Phonto on Dafont.com
4.
Superimpose is the same like PicsArt but with lot more effects. The app cost 99 cents but it's worth it. If you want it for free, there's something called AIO downloader and you can get it from there.
5.
Photo Layers is a great app for removing backgrounds from photos.
6.
Pixlr haves tons of overlays for photos.
