Round one ended with both of us bruised. I managed to land some good body shots on her regrettably, and she landed good ones on me too although she really liked to aim for my head. We had a 15 second break till the next round. I was just starting to get warmed up. "OK little wolf you showed me how you do hand to hand, but what about weapons?" I tilted my head and chuckled. "Like what? Samurai swords and knives?" She laughed and a spark lit her eye.
"Among the weapons we use some of them are that yes, what I'm trying to do is find what mele weapon you have an affinity for." I just shrugged. "Whatever you say gorgeous." She walked over to the round clock and hit the pause button. "Before we continue lets go to the weapon rack, all I want you to do is look at them for now, and in a few minutes pick one." I walked out of the ring and walked with her to the wall of impressive weaponry.
There were swords from all over the world. Katanna, broad swords, rapiers, bastard swords, short swords, dirks, knives, axes, maces, spears, even staffs. There was however, one set of weapons I kept coming back to. They were a set of kusarigama, deadly weapons that used small sickles and a weighted chain.

I looked at Juliana anxiously. "Can I choose one now?" She studied me for a second. "Did you find one you like?" I smiled like a little kid. "Yeah I did." She smiled too. "Then go choose your weapon." I walked straight to the section where the Kusarigama were and took them off the rack. "These, I want this set of Kusarigama." Juliana whistled. "You and Rosie will get along perfectly then. Interesting choice though." I smiled and tested the weight of them out, these seemed to fit my hand perfectly, I could already tell that I had found my weapon of choice.
"Does anyone here know how to use these though?" I asked. Juliana shrugged. "Honestly? No, none of us here do, but if you stay with us we will find someone to teach you who does." Then I had a thought. "Oh yeah that reminds me, Rosie uses a scythe, what do you and Titan use?" Jackie clapped her hands together. "Oh I'm so glad you asked!" She ran over to the wall and grabbed, oddly enough, a Minasbad. It's a traditional Filipino sword used for carving your opponent up in one smooth sweep, hence its slight downward curve.

"Wow, that's a beautiful sword, I cant say Iv'e ever seen one used though." I said. Juliana laughed. "Well I'm part Filipino, my papa used to use one of these to carve up melons and game we hunted down." Somehow learning about her past made her even more mysterious and human. "Well it sure looks like you know how to handle one." I said with a smile. We heard the front door opening and boots on the floor. "Guess the crew is back, our sparring match will have to wait, come on little wolf lets go show the rest of the pack your new toy." Juliana said. I chuckled and followed behind her.
Titan and Rosie were waiting in the living room. When they saw us, both of us covered in sweat and half naked, their eyebrows made a questioning look. I decided to have a little bit of fun with them. "Man Juliana, you certainly hold true to your name, Night Angel indeed." I chuckled and grabbed her around the waist, she didn't seem to mind.
In fact I could tell she wanted to play along. "Little Wolf you certainly do have a good set of fangs on you, I can't wait to discover what other things you can do to me." She puts a hand on my chest and traces circles around my pectorals, I shiver from pleasure. Rosie looks downright disgusted, and Titan looks so shocked that I can't help but wonder how he feels about Juliana.
"Damn kid, you move fast, Juliana usually doesn't let guys touch her, let alone see her with so little clothes on, you're the man." Titan chuckles, I laugh too. Rosie still looks stricken. "Oh Rosie." I say evilly. "Don't be upset that I'd go for someone with a bigger bust and sexier body than you, it can't be helped." Her face turned as red as her cloak. This time everyone laughed. "Oh come now little Rose." Juliana cooed. "You didn't seem like you wanted him so I snatched him up, your loss." Titan chuckled. "Guy's come on now stop teasing Rosie, she went clothes shopping for our little wolf here today, treat her nice."
I looked at Rosie curiously. "You went clothes shopping for me? Why?" Rosie just shrugged and said. "If you are going to be one of us you need to look the part." Then she saw my weapons. "You, you chose Kusarigama?!" She exclaimed. I looked at my weapon. "Uh yeah I guess, why? Is it a big deal?" Rosie ran up and looked at the weapon with big eyes.
"Are you kidding, Iv'e only ever met one other person in our organization that used those, he's dead now but he is a legend among us." Titan nodded his head. "Guy's name was Saber, in a one on one fight her never lost, you've chosen quiet the scary weapon there kid." I looked down at my left hand holding the weapon. "What uh, what would it take for me to say here and train with you guys?" I asked. "I bared my fangs today, and this place feels more like home than my old one for some reason." Juliana smiled. "That's because this is your home silly, you really don't remember anything do you?" I looked at her questioningly. I soon learned what it was I had forgotten, and also what It was I wished I could have left unlearned.
