Just a dream

*Warning sad*

You loved your boyfriend Jack with all of your heart and he loved you too. You were always so happy. Everyone said that you two were the perfect couple. You guys thought so too. You both had YouTube channels so you could work together.

Everything was bliss.

Until today.

You had just gotten home from the shop. You called out for Jack to come help you with the groceries but he didn't answer. You were confused considering he didn't tell you that he had gone anywhere. For now you thought nothing of it. You dropped your groceries off at the kitchen counter and went to look for him.

You walked into the family room but he wasn't in there. Everything looked untouched, the Tv was off which was unusual since it was almost always on. Next you checked the recording room. Same there. You started to worry a bit.

You checked the bedroom, it was the same as how you left it. The bed wasn't made and there was laundry on the floor as usual.Except there was one difference, a note. There was a white note laying in the middle of the bed, you hurried over to it.

In the middle of the paper it read

"Wake up"

You were scared. Where was Jack? What did this mean? You hoped that this was just a prank that Jack was pulling on you, but you had a sinking feeling it wasn't. You reached into your pocket for your phone. You scrolled through your contacts and dialed Jack.

No answer.

You tried again.

No answer.

You tried to call your best friend to see if they heard from him.

No answer.

You started to panic. What was happening?! You tried to call a bunch more of your friends and family.

No answer.

You heard a knock at your front door. Your heart was beating a million miles a minute as you rushed to go open it. You expected to see Jack at the door but no one was there. You stepped outside to see who it might have been. No one was outside. Instead, you found a white note on the ground. You screamed.

"Wake up"

A tear slipped down your face. This can't be happening. What's going on?! You grabbed your keys and stepped into your car. As you drove there wasn't a single person to be seen. All of the shops were empty. You drove to your's and Jack's favorite park. It's where he first asked you out.

When you got there you jumped out of your car. Again there was no one to be seen. You walked over to the play ground. There was something written in the wood chips.

"Wake up"

You dropped to your knees, sobbing and scared. You buried your face in your hands.

"Y/n?" It was Jack.

You quickly looked up. He wasn't there. You stood up, your head was spinning.

"Jack!" You screamed.

Your whole body was shaking. You just wanted him to hold you and tell you it would be alright. But he wasn't there. No one was.

You screamed and you screamed but no one answered. Before this you had the perfect life. You had a job that you loved with someone that meant everything to you. Now he's no where to be seen. You tried to look at your phone but when you went to turn it on an error message popped up.

"~Error 606~
Wake up"

You dropped your phone and the screen shattered. You wiped your eyes with your trembling hands and made your way to a bench that overlooked a lake. When you sat down you thought of all the good times you had with Jack.

~Flashback~

It was 5 o' clock in the afternoon and Jack had just asked you to meet him at the park. He had been acting strange around you lately. You got to the park and saw him sitting on the swings. When you walked up to him he started blushing madly.

"What's up Jack?" You asked as you took the swing next to him.

"Hey Y/n, I gotta ask you something." He said turning away from you and looking out at the water.

"What is it?" You replied.

"Promise you won't hate me." He said looking back at you.

"I could never hate you Jack." You assured him. Jack took a deep breath.

"Y/n I've liked you for the longest time and I was wondering if youwouldgooutwithme." He said the last part quickly.

"What was that?" You laughed.

"Wouldyougooutwithme?" He mumbled.

"One more time?" You smiled.

"WOULD YOU GO OUT WITH ME?!" He yelled. You got up and hugged him, he hugged you back.

"Of course I will you big doof."

~End of  Flashback~

You felt a hand on your shoulder and you shot out of your seat. It was Jack. You threw yourself into his arms, he held you tightly.

"Jack, what's happening?" You cried.

"I'm so sorry Y/n, but it's time for you to wake up." Tears streamed out of his eyes.

"Don't leave me please, I love you." You held him tighter.

"I love you too, goodbye Y/n." He kissed the top of your head then he was gone.

You woke up in a hospital bed with your best friend sitting in the chair next to you.

"Your awake!" They said surprised. You sat up.

"Where's Jack?!" You asked.

"Who?" They looked at you with a confused look.

"Jack! My boyfriend, don't you remember?" You answered.

"Y/n, you have been in a coma for a year now..." they said sadly. You felt dizzy as tears filled your eyes.

It was all just a dream
