(A/N : Lesley dated Misery's cousin and ever since then Misery and Lesley hae been close friends)
"Misery, where the hell are you?!?!" Danny yelled as he entered the girls bathroom. My body was trembling nd my breathing was heavy. Here i was hiding in a cubicle, hiding from my bully, hiding from the world. I didn't answer him, even if i could i wouldn't be stupid enough to.
The reason i dont speak is because i am mute and speaking would totally ruin the concept of being mute.
"C'mon i am going to get you anyway." he yelled again. 'BANG' oh god no! he's kicking the doors open, another door kicked open, i flinched. 2 more doors and then he will find me. Why can't i just have one freaking day where i am not beaten or threatened?!? Why don't i just die i can garauntee i will not be missed! 'BANG' shit that was my door.... i looked up and there stood Danny. He made a tutting noise while shaking his head. Looking for an escape i heard him speak " Misery after all these years you still haven't learned something sensible . Do not run away, if you run i'll beat you harder than it has to be. Anyway i wasn't going to hurt you." I looked at him, confused.
"My mum wanted me to go to a concert with you, as you mum and mine are good friends. So my mum bought me and you backstage passes to see this emo band that you like, Black veil brides. It's tonight, i'll pick you up at 7." he said then walked out of the cubicle and out of the bathroom.
Letting out a sigh of relief i walked out of the cubicle holding my ribcage, i hadn't quite recovered from the beating i got yesterday. A moment went by, oh my freaking god i am meeting BLACK VEIL BRIDES!!!!!! I need to start getting ready now!! With that thought stuck in my head i left the bathroom, body still trembling and breathing still heavy.
I walked into the office, Lesley, the receptionist smiled when she saw me. Her smiled faded once she saw the state i was in.
"Mis what's wrong?" Lesley asked. I took out my pad and wrote 'ill' , i then showed it to Lesley who nodded her head. "Do you want me to call you dad?"
I shook my head frantically, my dad hates me. She nodded, "Ok what about Caden, should i phone him?"
I nodded my head Caden is like a brother to me, i could tell him anything.
Only a couple of minutes went by before Lesley lifted her head and stated, "Caden said he will be here as soon as he can."
I nodded and sat down on the chair nearest Lesley. "Well atleast i can have some company for a little while." she stated, smiling at me. I smiled back and nodded rapidly. "So how's things going with you and that Danny kid?" she asked, pressing buttons on the keyboard. I looked at her once she had raised her head, i raised a questioning eyebrow.
" Oh you two aren't in a relationship? i just thought that because he follows you around like a little lost puppy."
I nodded, grabbed my pencil and pad the wrote 'long story'. She nodded "Ok, sorry about that."
"Misery! are you ok? I got here as soon as i could." a very familiar voice said. I looked up and smiled immediately, quickly opening my pad i wrote ' not really, ill'. Caden nodded and said, "Ok,well let's get you to my house."
He turned to Lesley "Thank you for looking after her Lez."
She smiled at my cousin. "Anytime Caden."
I waved goodbye to Lesley as Caden wrappen a protective arm around my waist and led me to his car. He opened the door that was on the passenger side, i smiled my thanks and carefully sat myself in the seat, not bothering with the seatbelt. Caden slipped in the other side he looked at me and sighed, "first thing seatbelt, second want to stay at mine and lastly Danny?" he stated putting the key into ignition then returning his attention to me. I playfully rolled my eyes at him, nodded and got my pen out along with my pad and began writing 'his mum and mine are making us got to a concert together. It's tonight and i am still recovering from yesterdays beating.' i showed what i had written to Caden, he nodded, "looks like we are going to his house first, to tell his mother where to pick you up tonight. Then to yours to tell you parents that you're staying with me for a little while."
I nodded then wrote 'how long?'
"Maybe 2 weeks 4 at the most. Plus i need to discuss something with your parents." he smiled mischeviously, then returned his attention to driving.

so i know this chapter is quite short and for the people who haven't read this before all the chapters i write are quite short, but you know i write better like that. I might get so far with writing this fanfic then randomly stop for a little .... if i do this i apologize, but i have tests and i need to get my grades up as they haven't been the best recently.
