Its my mothers birthday today.
"Do you have anything special to do today for your birthday?" I get up outta bed and kiss my mom on the cheek.
"Nothing special. Just like normal days. Did you get any groceries last night?"
My mom started to put on her clothes and a heavy aqua blue coat on, with a scarf around her neck to give a match.
"Haven't had time. I will go out today and get some. But before I do that, I want you to spend your birthday without any hessitation."
"Andy, you don't have to. Really.."
I interupted. "No really. Its your birthday, and I want to go out and get you something."
My mom starts walking towards me and lifts up my sleeve.
"How much time do you have?" She asked.
"12 hours. I should be pretty good."
My mom gives a sigh and lifts up her sleeve from her coat. She takes the time taker and fits it onto her wrist.
"Heres two hours. Do you think thats enough?"
"But, you only have 8 hours left."
"As long as I have time, it should always be enough." I nodded my head. "Alright. Well, I'm off to work."
"I will see you tonight so we can celebrate your birthday. I will be here on time."
"I love you, see you tonight."
"I love you too."
My mom leaves out the door while I follow her out.
