Victoria's Pov

A very bright light hit my face as I woke up from my peaceful sleep. Turning over I went to wrap my arms around Damon but hugged the air. I opened one of my eyes and frowned once I saw that Damon wasn't lying next to me.

Where did he go? I looked over at the side table to look at the time when a white note caught my eye. I sat up covering my naked body with the blankets that surrounded me and grabbed the note that was lying on the side table.

Dear Princess,

I'm sorry that I had to leave you alone this early in the morning. It really did screw with my mind with the fact of leaving you naked alone in bed. I just couldn't stay asleep knowing that Klaus could possibly be roaming around Mystic Falls plotting something that could hurt Ian and our unborn child. I've gone out to feed and search the area just incase I bump into Hybrid-dick.

I will be back very soon so I suggest you stay in bed ;)

I smiled softly and closed the note in 4's. I opened the draw next to me and put the note with the many other notes Damon had left for me.

I rolled out of bed and grabbed my white silk robe that was on the floor. Throwing it on, I walked into the hallway down to Ian's room. Slowly opening the door I tiptoed into see Ian sleeping peacefully, his little snores filling up the room.

Ian hugged his blue bear that Stefan had gotten him on his birthday. Bending over Ian's bed, I leaned over and kissed his forehead, I slowly stroked his black hair.

I smiled at Ian's peaceful state and walked out of Ian's room, tightening the robe around my body, when I bumped into a hard chest. Taking an abrupt step back, I looked up and was met with familiar sparkling green eyes, which made my stomach churn.

"Hi" I spoke nervously, not wanting to really create a conversation.

After the 'incident' Stefan had left and hadn't come back home, my eyes travelling over his features the duffel bag that he was holding caught my attention.

"Hey" Stefan mumbled nervously, looking down at the ground. I shook my head sadly, hating myself for what I was about to do. But I had to do this. For my sake and Damon's sake.

"Look, I don't know why you kissed me but it should not of happened" I paused looking around to see if anyone was here "I love him Stefan. Damon, I love him and I always will." I spoke truthfully.

I breathed out and ran a stressed hand through my hair.

"I don't know what came over you, but it was wrong. Damon was the better man before apologizing and yet you betrayed him in the worst kind of way.  Please Stefan, for me talk to him.... Apologize to him. You kissed me and ran off without any apology." I spoke sincerely.

"Victoria, it was a moment. I just don't know what came over me, I'm sorry." Stefan breathed and ran a hand through his hair. "I just wanted to make sure of these feelings that i-" Immediately I cut Stefan off my eyes widening.

Feelings? What does that mean?

"Stefan whatever you feel for me isn't real, you love Katherine. You and Katherine are going to start a family soon. Whatever you feel for me, Stefan you have to forget along with this conversation." I spoke quickly in shock.

Not even giving him the time to speak I turned around and walked - actually ran down the hallway and ran into my room, slamming and locking the door shut.

I slid down the door breathing heavily. This wasn't true. I'm having trouble hearing. I need to go and get my ears checked.

Shaking my head, I ran a hand through my hair. I reeked of sweat, deciding whether to have a shower or have a bath I decided to go for a nice bath.
