"Do you guys know what part you're singing, right?" Jonathan asked as he helped Marcel fix Lui's tux. "Yeah, we know." Brock said as he looked at his phone, waiting for his online friend, Brian to text him. It's been two weeks since he had a full on conversation with Brian.
Brock had on a snow white dress while Jonathan wore a blue one and Marcel and Lui wore blue tuxes. "Come on, Brocky. I'm sure he has a good reason on why he hasn't texted. Now, let's go put on a show for the people out there." Marcel looked out the curtains and into the auditorium.
It was the winter concert. Their lovers, friends, family, and others came to see it. There's just so happen to be the closing act. Brock put his phone down and took a deep breath. "Alright here we go!"
"Please welcome Marcel, Jon, Brock, and Lui to the stage singing 'My Grown Up Christmas List'!" Claps could be heard as the four walked on stage, curtains still closed. They got into position and waited for the curtains to open and the music to play.
Do you remember me
I sat upon your kneeI wrote to you with childhood fantasies
Jonathan sang as he sat next to Marcel, who had a 'sad' face as he watched Brock and Lui 'argue' and Lui leave the stage, leaving Brock to cry on his knees. The stage was set up like a typical house on Christmas. Decorations and lights on the tree and fire place. The couch was placed in the middle.
The crowed was in awe as Marcel and Jon looked at Brock sadly while cuddling on the love seat.
Well, I'm all grown up now
Can you still help somehow
I'm not a child but my heart can still dream
Marcel walked over to Brock and put an arm around him, feeling bad for the man in the dress. Brock looked at Marcel and sang.
So here's my lifelong wish
My grown-up Christmas list
Not for myself but for a world in need
Brock stood at the center of the stage as the background faded out. He looked directly at the audience.
No more lives torn apart
That war's would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown-up Christmas list
A lone tear fell down his face as he sang. Everyone thought it was for effect but it wasn't. He was missing his online friend dearly. And this song reminded him about Brian. Lui came back to the stage with a present, handing it to Brock as an apology for arguing.
Jon came from the the background, hand in hand with Marcel as they watched the two. Brock was explaining that he didn't need any presents to forgive Lui.
As children we believed
The grandest sight to see
Was something lovely wrapped beneath our tree
Lui gave Brock a hug, smiles on both of their faces. That made Jon and Marcel both smile. When the two pulled away, Lui began to sing.
Well, heaven surely knows
Packages and bows
Could never heal a hurting human soul
They all stood in the center with smiles plastered on their face as Lui and Jon began to sing.
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end
This is my grown up christmas listBrock looked in the crowd and almost cried. Brian. Brian was there. In the front row.
What is this illusion called the innocence of youth
Maybe only in our blind belief can we ever find the truth
No more lives torn apart
That wars would never start
And time would heal all hearts
And everyone would have a friend
And right would always win
And love would never end, oh"This is my grown up Christmas list" Jon started
"This is my only life long wish." Lui and Marcel continued.
"This is my grown up Christmas list." Brock finished as the song faded out.
Cheers and claps could be heard from miles away. People were throwing flowers and bears on the stage as the four took a bow.
(Timeskip)
"That was amazing!" Craig squealed as he threw his arms around Marcel. Marcel pecked Craig's lips. "Thank you."
As everyone was getting hugs and kisses, Brock was checking his feed on twitter until he got a message.
Bri <3: Nice performance! Sorry that I haven't been texting you lately..I've been trying to have the courage to tell you that I was visiting..Now I have a present for you as an apology. Turn around!
Brock quickly turned around to see the Irish person that he loved dearly. Tears formed in the corner of Brock's eyes. "You asshole! I thought you were truly ignoring me!" Brian wrapped his arms around Brock.
And that's when Brock did the unexpected. He kissed Brian. It lasted about 20 seconds before they pulled away. "Wow. Why'd you do that?"
"Mistletoe" Was all Brock said before pointing upward.
(Merry Christmas Everyone!)
