Mates:

LGBTQ+ IS SUPPORTED MY THE LUNA SO SAME-SEX OR ANY OF THE LGBTQ+ MATES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Mates are like soulmates. You usually have one mate in you life; it is rare to have two but it can happen. You can find your mate after your 16th Birthday. If you find your mate (You may not find them) it will feel like you are finally whole, it is like finding the other half of you. You can tell if someone is your mate by their smell; you will smell the best thing ever, by looking into their eyes, feeling sparks when you touch them ect.... You will feel protective towards your mate, especially males over females and will get angry if another un-mated wolf is interacting with your mate.

If you find your mate, the male will want to mark the female as quickly as possible. A mark is something on your neck which will show to other wolves that you are taken. Females can also mark males but it is traditionally the male who marks the other. The mark will give off tingles if touched and will feel pleasurable when being marked. If the mark is forced (The female or whoever is being marked doesn't want to be marked) than the marking process will feel very painful and will not be pleasurable when touched. 

Once you have found your mate, the female will go through something called heat until you complete the mating process. A heat is like a period, just a lot lot more painful. Throughout the heat, the female will want to be with the male as much as possible and will want to become sexual with the male. The only way to stop/prevent heat if for the mates to 'do the deed' To complete the mating process you would need to 'do the deed' with your mate.
