2 years later

It was a late saturday evening and Sungho was surfing through the web with nothing better to do.
His phone buzzed.
He picked it up and saw he got a message from his girlfriend

From: Jiyoon♡

Hi honey bear!
I just got home from work.
How are you doing?

He rolled his eyes and turned the phone off.
He continued scrolling through his twitter, looking for something to occupy his mind.

The doorbell rang.

'Who could it be this late?' Sungho thought to himself.
'Jiyoon?' His girlfriend was the only person he thought would visit at this time.
He hesitated to open the door as he really didn't want to deal with her right now but he opened anyway.

"Hi." Said a familiar voice.
A voice he hadn't heard in two years
He looked up to be greeted by a familiar face.
The face he longed to see for two years.

Sungho was speechless.
Just as he was beginning to forget about Inho he just decides to show up at his doorstep without any warning.

Inho opened his mouth to say something but Sungho cut him off. "What are you doing here?" He said with a not-so-subtle anger in his voice.

"I'm sorry if I'm bothering you, i was just nearby so i thought I'd visit you." Inho explained "Can I come in?"
"Oh... I'm sorry, yeah, sure." Sungho stepped aside and gestured Inho to come in.

Inho sat on the couch in the living room and awkwardly waited for Sungho to sit down as well.

"How have you been?" Inho asked to break the awkward silence.

'Well, the person who i had loved the most for four years left me with no explanation and didn't contact me for over two years so how do you think I've been?' Sungho thought to himself.
"Good." He said.
'I cried myself to sleep for two weeks after you left' He thought.
"I signed with a company." He said.
'Why did you leave me like that?'
"How about you?"

"I've been good. Im going to debut soon actually." Inho awkwardly nodded.
"Good for you." Sungho mumbled, clenching his teeth to hold back tears.

"Look..." Inho said, scooting closer to Sungho "...I didn't come here for small talk, i came here to apologise."

Sungho looked down at his lap so Inho wouldn't see he was about to cry.
Inho cupped his cheeks and lifted his face so he was looking directly at his eyes.

"I'm sorry. I am so, so sorry for everything i did, for leaving you, for not calling you, for not telling you why i left, I'm so incredibly sorry for all the pain I've put you through."
Inho's eyes said more than words could express. The expression on his face showed a thousand times more sorrow than his words ever could.

He pulled Sungho's face closer and kissed him.

He stayed still for a moment to enjoy finally being reunited with the one he loved.

When he moved his face away, he saw tears glimmering on Sungho's cheeks.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that, i just-" Inho began apologising
"Shut up." Sungho cut him off

He turned away and wiped the tears from his face

"Why did you leave me like that?" Sungho asked, still facing away "Why did you just run away without contacting me at all for two years?! You could have at least called to let me know you're still alive!"

"I'm sorry, i didn't know you'd think i was dead." Inho said jokingly. He mentally slapped himself in the face right after, for doing that.

"Two years! I had two years to think about it, that's enough time to come up with every single reason you could have left! And you didn't even send a text! I had no proof that you were still alive so yes i considered the option that you might be dead!" Sungho now had tears streaming down his face like rivers.

Inho began apologising again but Sungho cut him off.
"Just shut up." He said, grabbing a fistful of Inho's hair and pressing their lips together.
"You have no idea how much I've missed you. Or how worried i was."
Sungho didn't want Inho to see him crying again so he got back to kissing him and made sure their faces didn't separate. He pushed him onto the couch and climbed on top of him.

While Inho couldn't see Sungho crying, he could feel his tears wetting the both of their cheeks.
He didn't want to be with Sungho while he's this unstable, as he was afraid that something might happen they'd both regret in the future.
He pushed Sungho away.
"We should probably stop, I can't be with you while you're like this."

Sungho looked at him with tears in the corners of his eyes "Please... I've missed you so much... just give me tonight."

Inho wanted to say no, but seeing Sungho begging him with tears running down his face, knowing this would make him feel at least somewhat better, he couldn't say no. He couldn't bring himself to break Sungho's heart even more than he already has.
"Okay." He said "Tonight."
