Two teens sit in a dark room, a boy and a girl. A gun sitting in between them on a table.

"You ready bro?" The girl asked, gesturing to the Revolver on the table.

"Of course, you know the bet right?" The boy responds, loading the gun with a single bullet. He spins the chamber so the bullet is lost among the five empty rounds.

The boy picks up the gun; pointing it at his head and pulls the trigger....but nothing happens. Next the girl picks up the gun quickly and pulls the trigger. A loud gunshot rang through the room, as the girl collapses on the table.

"Just because you play dead does not mean you can get out of our bet." The boy says teasingly. The girl springs back to life, puffing out her cheeks. "But Jiro you always win!" Junko replies.

"Well, you make the bets. Now come on let's get it done already." Jiro get's up, dusting off his attire.

Both the the twins are seventeen now and have grown up quite a bit. Jiro has gotten taller, and much more lean. Same for Junko, but she isn't as tall. Junko has let her hair grow down to her lower back, and has gotten piercings. One in her nose and one in her lip.

The twins walked down the street of Tokyo, in their uniform. White dress shirt and black dress pants, as well as a tie. They walked into a famous tattoo and piercing parlor they visited often. "Hey Junko! Lost another bet I see!." A woman with purple pinkish hair sits at the cash register waving.

"Yes Mura-san." Junko sighed in defeat.

Mura laughed at the girl, she had been the one to give her piercings after she lost bets with her brother, and got to know her over some time. "Don't call me Mura-san it makes me feel old." She smiled and lead Junko over to a seat. "Where will it be this time?" She held the needle in her hand.

"Might as well do the other side of my lip this time." Junko sighed tiredly.

"Oh so you're going for a snake bite now, huh." Junko nodded as she pierced her lip.

After they finished at the parlor they began to walk through tokyo.

"Ouch!" Junko hissed getting a hair that was stuck in her new piercing. "Why do I even try anymore." Junko sighed rubbing the small silver rings on her face.

"What's wrong, and don't say the piercings hurt I know they don't bother you." Jiro asked placing his hand on his sister's shoulder.

" I don't want to do this anymore." Junko's mood began to sink and sink.

"Well don't make anymore bets." Junko laughed a little bit.

"You know what I mean. I don't want to work for them anymore." Junko looked down at the revolvers strapped to her thighs.

They have worked for the Kingu mafia since they were just little kids, when they killed their parents and forced them to work for them. This mafia is well known, because it controls most of Tokyo and other regions in japan. They have access to a body altering drug that enhances something about you. People who get exposed become stronger, faster, smarter, or more accurate. They were called the elites, people who got the drug and survived the pain. The problem was the human body could only take a certain dose, if that was exceeded you could die a very painful death. The twins were not close enough a level to receive the drug, but they were slowly getting closer to that rank.

"You know we can't run away Junko, don't even try." They continued to walk until they came unto a cross road. "See ya back at the base." Junko waved goodbye to her brother and went to do her daily rounds.

She came upon an antique shop that had been in the town for years. When she walked inside; she replaced her guilty face with a stone cold facade as an elderly man approached. "Hello young one! What brings you here?"

Her guilt almost made her shiver,"Katsurou, you know why I'm here."

The old man began to shake with fear, "Please! Give me more time! I almost have the money!" He got on his knees and began to beg. Junko couldn't hold it together anymore and dropped the facade. She kneeled in front of the man and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You're lucky I hate this job. I'll pay for half of the debt with my earnings and you only have to pay half." She helped the man up off the ground.

When the man got up, she hugged Junko and began to thank her.

She walked out of the shop with a paper bag with the the money from the shop. As she was walking; she noticed someone was following her. To catch the culprit she walked into an alley and hid.

When the person came into the alleyway; she pounced on them and pressed a revolver against their forehead. The culprit turned out to be a boy, around her age. "Please let me go!" He begged.

"Why were you following me?" Junko pressed the revolver against his forehead harder, making him hiss. "I saw you in the antique shop! I wanted to know why you did that! You're in the mafia right?" Junko put the revolver away, and let the boy get up.

" I am, but I hate it." She leaned against the wall opposite of the boy.

"Why do you hate it?" Junko began to get annoyed. "You saw what I was doing right? I was merciful. Anyone else would have shot him. I don't want to do that." The boy smiled and got up.

"That makes you different." Junko stood straight, and began to walk out of the alleyway. Before she left she pulled out a small black note-book and spoke, "What's you're name?"

"Ishikawa Satoshi, why?" Junko wrote his name in the book and put it back in her pocket. "I like to keep track of friends."
