"Mom!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I paced around the living room of our apartment. I could hear Scarlett's Mom beep the car horn outside. "Mom! It's time for me to leave for camp!"

"Sorry darling," she said hugging me. "I love you. Have a good time, Be safe!"

"Love you too, I'll call you, Okay bye." I quicky kissed my mom before shutting the door.

Summer vacation. No more school, and stupid people, and homework. God I hate homework. Every summer, My three best friends and I go to a camp called 'Super Fun Woods'. It sounds really lame, but it's actually quite fun. Free food, bonfires, parties, it's more of a party place for the summer than a camp. We enjoy it at least. I ran down the steel steps of my apartment buildings staircase until I reached the bottom. I walked outside into the bright sun.

"Hey sweetasscheeks." Scarlett yelled from her mom's car.

"Hey babycakes, you ready to party!"

She smiled, "Totally ready for this."

I jumped into her mom's car and waved at her Mother. "Hi Mrs.Reign, thanks for the ride."

"No problem sweetheart." She smiled.

She always is so nice, I don't understand how she manages with us crazy children.

"Okay, so like Jack texted me yest-"

"I don't care Angel." Blaise scowled at her. "You keep telling us about this, No one needs to know about Jack's abs."

Angel opened her mouth, but closed it again in defeat.

I put in my headphones and picked a song to drown out their eventual screaming.

"Wake up loser we're here."

I opened my eyes and surely enough we had arrived. It was packed this year, it always had a lot of people. But, more than usual this time. I got out of the car and put my hair up in a messy bun. I walked over to the trunk of the car and waited for everyone to grab their stuff. Scarlett said goodbye to her Mom and we started walking towards sign in.

Once we all signed in we picked two cabins and roommates. I'm with Scarlett because no one else wanted to deal with her snoring. Lucky me. We started to walk to our cabin.

"How excited are you for the bonfire tonight? I'm so excited. There has to be some cute boys!" Scarlett exclaimed.

"Yeah whatever, I just want to hang out by the lake man."

She rolled her eyes, "You always do."

I opened the door to our small cabin that we would be staying in for the next 2 months. There was a dresser, bunk beds across from a small window, desk in the corner, and a door that led to the bathroom.

"I call top bunk!" Scarlett screamed.

I smiled. She's always so enthuastic, it usually makes you laugh, But sometimes you just want to kill her. Oops.

"Alright, I'm going to take a shower now so my hair will dry before the bonfire."

She laughed "You do that sweetasscheeks."

****

I hopped out of the shower and grabbed a pair of shorts and a blue crop top. I remember I bought this when I went to the mall with Angel. Big tip, never go to the mall with Angel.

I put my hair up in a high ponytail and walked outside.

"Oh, well doesn't someone look like a hot mamasita."

I glared at her, "Shut up Scar, and same to you."

She looked nice in her checkered shorts and black T-shirt. Simple, but nice. I felt comfortable in my blue crop top and jean shorts.

"Let's go find Angel and Blaise, I'm starving."

Scarlett nodded in agreement and grabbed her combat boots. I put on mine and we walked out the door.

"It's not too hot out today, that's good for a bonfire." I told Scar while looking towards the lake. I always loved the lake. It's so pretty and quiet down there.

"Yeah, it is. Oh! I see Angel, of course flirting with some douches." She rolled her eyes.

I laughed and followed her gaze. She was laughing at something one of the guys said. He wasn't unattractive I guess, better than Angels usual choice. As we started nearing them I could hear their conversation.

"You are so funny Josh! Oh my g-"

"Hey Angelcakes." I said cutting her off from her stupid flirting with this guy she probably met three seconds ago.

"Oh, hi Fae" She said blushing.

"We should get going, come on Angel." I said dragging her away from the boy before she got herself into trouble.

"Hey what was that for!" Angel screamed at me.

"We had to go and you were flirting with a boy you just met. The usual. Now lets go find Blaise."

she laughed, "Eh I guess so. Let's go! I'm so excited for this bonfire! I think Blaise is by the creek lets check there."

We walked towards the creek and all I could hear was Angel and Scarlett talking about how hungry they were. They sound like children whining at snack time. Not even kidding.

We finally go to the creek and found Blaise sitting under the tree reading a book.

"Blaise, Let's go I'm starving I swear I'm going to die." Scar whined.

"I doubt you'll die, but let's go I'm hungry too." Blaise giggled.

****

Scar and Angel ran towards the smores as soon as we go to the bonfire. People were screaming, and laughing, and screaming. I saw an empty space by a tree and walked over with Blaise.

"Did you even want to come tonight?" Blaise asked.

"Not exactly." I said while closing my eyes trying to get rid of this headache.

Suddenly I felt something wet fall all over my clothes.

"Sorry bitch," A girl with blonde hair giggled.
