The Demon is my Mate?!

Chapter 5

Angel's pov

Frozen in fear, I stared back in his golden eyes. I was afraid that if I looked away, he might punish me for not giving him respect.

Noticing my fear, the fallen angel spoke up, "You must be Angel,it's very nice to finally meet you", Lucifer said with a smile.

A small smile appeared on my face. "Same to you..and how did you know who I was?"

"Think I wouldn't know my son's mate?", he chuckles a bit but then I find his gaze on my cuts and bruises.

"Death, may I ask who did this to her", Lucifer said in a very stern voice.

Death spoke up.

"Hazen, my lord. I caught him in the mortal world beating up Angel. I pushed him away before anything got too hectic. But I'm afraid Angel suffered a lot."

I bit my lip as I looked at Lucifer. He looked pissed. I quickly looked away. I didn't want to be disrespectful but I couldn't help myself. I was scared.

Lucifer sighed and gently took me out of Death's arms and put me in his arms. With one touch to my forehead, Lucifer instantly healed me. After that,  he gently set me down on my feet.

I looked at him, "Thank you."

Lucifer looked back at me and nodded and narrowed his eyes. "What did Hazen do to you exactly?"

I looked down at the ground and took a deep breath. "W-well, he punched me in the face..and kicked me in the stomach. While he was doing that, he called me weak..,p-pathetic..,pesky, and w-worthless. He said h-he didn't need a mate because I was weak and pathetic..",I bit my lip and looked at Lucifer.

Lucifer clenched his jaw and fists and rage filled his eyes.
"Hazen! Get your ass down here right now!"

Fear rose in me and I whimpered.

"No, no, no! I have to get out of here before he comes!"

Just as I was about to run up to the door, but Lucifer stops me.

"Angel don't worry, you're going to be okay. Me and Death are going to make sure he doesn't hurt you. I'm bringing him down here because he needs to know what he did was unacceptable. You're his mate and he should be treating you with respect. I sincerely apologize for his actions and behavior."

I nodded and relaxed a little and looked at the door nervously.

Soon the door opened with a creek and came in an annoyed Hazen.

I shook in fear as I saw him walk in. I felt uneasy. I prayed to myself he wouldn't go near me.

Hazen spoke up with annoyance in his voice, "What father."

"Excuse me?"

Hazen sighed very annoyed and says in a mocking tone," Yes father?"

Lucifer glared at his son, "Now isn't the fucking time for this shit Hazen."

Hazen rolled his eyes and looked away and locked his green eyes with mine. Hazen now knew why he was here. He then gave me a death glare and snarled at me.

I whimpered and backed away as my eyes widen in fear.

Lucifer snarled back at Hazen and grabbed him by his neck.

"Mind explaining why the fuck you hurt her."

Hazen growled and glares at his father, " I will not tolerate having a pathetic and weak mate like the mutt she is", he then glances at me and gives me a evil grin.
