Regarding the Recent News about 5H

This morning, I woke to the news that Camila Cabello had left Fifth Harmony. I was not all that surprised to hear it, but I was still shocked. I had figured that Camila would be the first to leave, but I didn't think it would happen this soon, and especially not now, not while 5H is doing so well.

I won't lie; it kind of hurt.

When I first discovered 5H, Camila was the first person in the group I felt connected with, and I related to her first. Although I love all the girls equally (and I eventually became a Lauren girl), Camila was-and still is-special to me. And now that she's gone, I know that Fifth Harmony will never be the same.

I also know this:

The world has not ended because of this (the world will definitely end soon, but this will not be the cause). There is still a group called Fifth Harmony (now with four members) that has made great music and will keep making music until they disband as a whole. All four of them, plus Camila, will begin to make or keep making music as solo artists. And I will continue to support all of them as a group and as individuals. In short, the world will move on. The world will move on until Trump destroys it (let's face it; he will destroy the entire world one way or another).

In the meantime, we must move on from this, just like the rest of the world is. I understand that there are fans who are mourning right now, and that's okay. Just remember that it's not the worst thing to happen this year, let alone the end of the world.

My focus will return to the well being of my friends and family, looking for a job, getting ready for my next semester of college, and the news of the world, which includes, but is not limited to: Aleppo, Standing Rock, the deaths in Berlin, and the upcoming disaster known as the Presidential Inauguration.

But right now, I will be sad about this for one more moment.

Just remember: we'll get through this.
