The Soldier and the Nurse.

My name is Jake. I am in the US army. I been in basic training over a month. This is my first time really in the army. I'm twenty year's old I didn't go to college because my mom said I didn't need it. What I been doing for 4 days straight is jogging pt test 2 miles and 10 or 15 miles.  My friend Joseph is in the army to he  gets pissed off a lot. I don't blaim him either well I officially been in the army for four days straight in the desert out of no where it's really hot here. I'm like there engineer I repair stuff. But I still have to do exercises and run and be out in the field. But it really tires us we have to carry a really
heavy back pack on our back and run at the same time  It looks and feels like the back pack hugging ypo and you  can't get it off. I learned how to fly a helicopter in basic training. It was fun but I was nervous. Now it's time for all of us to go to our bunkers. it's quiet here. suddenly it was morning before I fell asleep. We got up at 5:00 every morning.  We ate breakfast and we did jogging when it was dark out. when I was jogging I almost jogged past a place where I can get some water.  It was from the hospital I went inside the hospital and starred at a beautiful young lady for thirty seconds. I was thinking in my mind who is she? Well I walked up to a desk to the beautiful young lady. I asked if I may plz have a water I studdered it because I was to busy paying attention to her pretty self I didn't here what she said so I just saw her run off so I guess that was a yes. I saw her come back in two minutes with a bottle of water and said thx beautiful shyly and walked off. I started jogging blinded because I wasn't paying attention to where I was going I was thinking about what she looked like. The next morning we moved out to war. I wasn't scared I was just nervous and when we got our gear on we started marching in a group. So I was off to my first battle.  But only thing I was thinking about was that girl. we finally got to the fight. I was still dreaming when we got there but when a enemy fighter shot at me I woke up.we all were shooting our guns and getting have to hide to reload. I got side tracked and was looking at Joseph instead I saw him get shot in the leg. I ran over there to him I yelled Joseph! i said can u walk he said no.  He said go let me stay here I said no I'm not leaving you. so I picked him up and carried him on my back. We headed back to base I had my gun in one hand  while had him with one hand on my back. I ran really hard we got there really fast right now I wasn't thinking about that girl I was thinking about my best friend. Finally we got there and I slammed the door open and slammed it closed. I ran up to the desk it was that lady again she said may I help u sir? I said yes my friend got shot in the leg can u plz help? she said sure and put him on a bed and ran down the hall way with him. I got to go to she said it's a good thing I brought him right away or he would've lost his leg.she look at him and said it was bad. I looked at her so she looked at me and I said is he gonna be ok,. And she Said he should and I walked out of the room talking to her and she gave me her number and said maybe we can go out to eat sometime. And I said sure and we in back to see him I said to him it's going to be ok. Well I told Joseph I had to get going and he  said ok. I got in trouble with the drill sergeant but at least I saved my best friend. The next thing I went to was dinner with that girl. I finally got there and said hi and she said hi and I sat down. I suddenly ask her what's ur name. she said Julia and I said pretty name she saids thx what's urs i said jake she said cool name  We talked for hours and hours it got really late so we went on so I got to the bunkers and was thinking what will the next dinner be like. At night I got a phone call and she said tomorrow do u wanna go to dinner with me? I said sure. it's night and this time she asked me out I said sure and went  on with the conversation so we talked all night so I was going to be in trouble. Oh well I had a good night so I was ok.
