I’m going to try and write on this everyday, even with my school work. I’m really liking how this is going, and I hope you guys do too! I just hope my own sadness doesn’t kick in and ruin Eden’s life -_-

Oh well! Enjoy!

Moving In

Kary, my now foster mother, had gotten people to get my stuff, sensing the fear I was emanating. She felt bad for me, I have scars on my chest, legs, arms, and my right cheek. I have bruises that will take months to heal almost everywhere on my body, and I look older than I should with all the stress, pushing me down by the shoulders.

She lived in southern California, a long way from where I live, here in Oregon, I heard it’s nice and warm there… I hope they’re right. I’m sick of bleeding to death in the cold. I’m sick of hearing that damned voice who tells me to grab the knife and end it.

“You okay?” She asked looking over at me with her kind green and hazel eyes.

I nodded and said, “Yeah, it’s just… I’ve been dealing with that for 4 years, and I finally get to leave.”

She looked at me shocked, “4 years?!”

“I couldn’t leave… I would have nowhere to go, and god forbid the horror of foster care, what if I found someone even worse?” I said in a dismal tone.

She sighed and said, “Don’t worry, a lot of people in California will like you, whether you’re gay or not.”

I smiled at her, thanking her silently for saving me from them.

We got on the plane, I fell asleep almost immediately, even when I was unconscious for almost 3 days, I was incredibly tired.

I woke up as the plane began to land, and we went to the entrance, she ha said everything had been taken care of already. I walked outside and she guided me to a… A limo?

“Go on in,” she said smiling, knowing that her secret of being rich had been spilt, like a glass of water on a roller coaster.

I went in, and it was amazing, it looked so nice! The seats were squishy! There was a mini tv for each side! It’s like heaven!

“Do you like it?” She asked, I nodded quickly, a stupid grin on my face, hiding the pain from the bruise on my side.
