'Man, that was rude' Jason said while laughing. He knew that he was talking about how he dismissed Sybil but he didn't feel sorry about it . If he did feel something, anything that was only relief. 'And I'm not at all sorry for that' Christian admitted. 'She should not to disobey me and she knew that I'm not gonna get into this marriage thing at this moment. I need time and space and she better respect that' Jason frowned at his comment. 'You know that you have to get married to her ryte? There is no any other way' Christian nodded in agreement knowing well that marrying Sybil was his only choice. He was busy in his conversation with Jason that he almost, almost missed her checking him out. He brought his head up to look at her and that was when he felt something funny in the pit of his stomach, when their eyes met and got locked up in an instant pull. He was drawn to the dark brown sea and he couldn't avert his eyes from hers. He was in a different world and he could not come back. He could look at those eyes and get lost in them, he thought. Even under her glasses he could feel that warmth, affection and...sadness? Why is she sad? What made her sad?All this questions were running in his mind and he frowned. And that was when she flinched as if she knew that he could read her emotions through her eyes and she quickly averted her eyes. He blinked once, twice not being able to understand what the hell just happened? What was that all about? He was still in his deep thoughts on what just happened when Jason's voice brought him back to reality.

'Huh?...What were you saying?' He asked and Jason sighed. 'Just go and talk to her already ' Jason said. 'What?' Who is he talking about Christian thought. 'Dude, even a blind man can see that you are very much attracted to that girl. So why don't you just go and get her number already ' Christian frowned. Is he that obvious? 'I really don't know what the hell you are talking about' Christian denied knowing that his friend might try to do anything to help him but will end up badly. He also knew that he cannot let himself to get attracted to the beautiful stranger because he is engaged to be married in a few months. He sighed realising that he have to let go of this new feeling that has arisen. This new feeling that made him feel weird but happy. He is intrigued to find out more about her but how? He had never felt this way about a particular woman before this and he knew that there is something special about her which makes him to get to know her better but how?He massaged his brows and let a deep sigh again.

'You know what? If you are not going to make any move then I will be more than happy to make the move' Jason stood up from his chair to walk over to the their table but Christian immediately yanked him back to his seat and gave him a dead glare. 'Don't you dare' Christian warned. How dare he make a move on his woman. His woman. Holy shit! What was that? He just called her as his. His. Where the hell did that come from? He was acting like a possessive lover and he doesn't even know her name for pete's sake! He is in deep trouble.
'Wow, calm you tits man! I was not going to make  move on her but her friend who is sitting next to her.' Jason chuckled. Jason figured out the moment Christian started getting lost in his thoughts that he was in a deep shit. Christian was not the "fuck and dump" type. He respects women and he have always wanted someone who he could share his space and life with but unfortunately Sybil came along and he had no choice than to marry.  But Jason was well aware of the look that Christian was giving to that woman wearing glasses. Jason was happy to see him like that and decided to step in knowing that Christian will immediately deny his feelings towards the stranger who managed to capture the great Christian Parker's attention.

Relief washed over Christian when Jason told that he was not interested to make a move on his stranger. He immediately sat up straight and adjusted his tie which suddenly made him feel uncomfortable. 'I was just...well--' Christian tried to explain. 'Cut the crap off. I'm going to start a conversation with those girls. You coming or not? ' Jason went straight to the point. 'No'. He can't just go and talk to her when he doesn't even know her name. Well usually he won't be this nervous when it comes to talk the opposite gender. All he had to do was giving his "panty dropping grin" and the job is done but now something about her is making him nervous and there is pull in his stomach that does not seem to help to overcome his nervousness. He couldn't seem to put a finger on it though but there something about her, he thought.

'Now come on, everyone knows that the great Christian Parker will never hesitate to talk to ladies....wait a minute don't tell me the ladies man, Parker is scared to start up a conversation with a girl!' Christian gave Jason a "shut the hell up look " and chastised himself for being so obvious to his friend. Not that he was scared, he is Christian Parker for god's sake , the word scared is not in his dictionary.

'I'm not scared!', he all but growled at Jason for even giving a thought about it. 'Okay, fine! Let's go!' He stood and waited for Jason to follow his suit. Jason stood up with a smirk and both of them started working towards the girls table.
