I hate this feeling. It's like I'm the cupcake and embarrassment is the frosting.

The other half of my mind says I should've let him kiss me. But the other says I did the right thing considering the fact that he is my best friend and only will be my best friend.

I hid beside the bushes as it gets darker and darker.

It's creepy, yes. But going back inside the house is like you're going back somewhere you never want to go back. So I just decided to stay here.

I wonder if he's looking for me.

Yep.

That's what I needed now. I want him to look for me so it would end my misery now.

I want us to make everything normal again. Talk it out here on this moment.

Pillow talk.

But time went slower and slower as I waited for him.

All I can hear was the sound of the tropical trees, swooshing with the wind. The sound of crickets and the sound of the ocean.

For some people, this scenery is a dream. But in my case, it is becoming a nightmare.

This kind of scene will remind me of what is the feeling of waiting for someone so badly but that person didn't come.

I got so impatient and insecure, so I manned up and walked my way back to the house.

Sadly, no one was there in the living room anymore.

I went to the kitchen, gulped a glass of water, and walked towards the stairs.

I was looking at my foot while walking. But a big figure was there to bump my head.

"You're blocking my way. And congrats, you got your revenge, I waited for you and you didn't come-" I kept looking down.

"What are you talking about?" He asked.

That voice was definitely not Toby's.

I slowly looked up to see a lip ring. Then it hit me. It was Luke.

"Oh my gosh...I'm so sorry, I gotta go." I said while rushing upstairs.

But he quickly grabbed my wrist and said, "Wait! Don't you think a little walk would be nice?"

"I think walking around 10 wouldn't be nice." I said worriedly.

"Pleeaase?"

How can you resist that smile?

"Where's Toby?" I asked while going down the stairs.

He scratched his head. "Honestly, that's the purpose of why we're gonna have this walk..." he smiled

"He's missing?" I stopped my tracks and looked straight to his eyes.

He nodded shyly.

"Ughhhh!" I was so frustrated.

"To tell you the truth, earlier, he was sitting on the living room while his hands on his face. He looks so problematic...." he stopped to see if I was listening
