Obraie got off of the glossy black motorbike. She looks back at Zander Burr as he was just getting off his bike. "Why and how did you get me out of school?" She asked taking the helmet off and handing it to the strange boy.
"What? No, thank you for getting you out?" He said smugly as he shrugging.
"Thank you, know tell me how you got me out of school?" She asked glaring at the brat.
" Why don't we go inside first. " He said his voice became nervous, out of his normal confidence. Why would he be this nervous?' It's wired.' She thought.
"Fine." She grumbles walking inside the soft periwinkle apartment building. She always loved the coloring of the buildings that her father picked for her to live in, knowing that she would get easily bored in a plan white house. She trotted up two flights of stairs and went to apartment C10, the last door at the end of the hall, she loved theses rooms, they were usually bigger. She got out her key chain and unlocked the door. She walks into the dark, glome, apartment. She smiled it was home.
Obraie walks into the living room, the walls were eggshell And the further was a nice glossy black. She sat on the loveseat, she smiled as she felt it wrapped around her. She forgot about the tan skinned, brown haired, green eyed boy that brought her home.
"It's kind of dark in here," Zander said his voice booming.
"Are you afraid of the dark?" She asked looking over at him. He was sitting in the desk chair, it was black like the rest of the frontier, but it almost seemed to fit him, like he was the bad guy of those cheesy movies back in the old days when her father was a kid.
"Just turn on the lights." He said sounding annoyed.
"Okay, Okay grumpy butt." She mutters getting up and turns on the lights in the living room. "Is that better?" She asked her voice a little mockingly.
"Yes, it's better." He said still looking nervous and pale, which she thought it was impossible for him.
"Are you sick? You look sick." She asked walked over to him. Obraie hesitated before putting her hand on his leg before feeling his forehead with the back of her hand. She wasn't sure why it was just something that she has seen couples do, she didn't realize how much it bothered her to do it.
"You feel a little warm, maybe you should go back to your house." She said her voice a little more than a whisper.
"Obraie, I feel fine." He said his voice was unsteady, uncertain.
" No your not." She said looking into his green eyes, they flickered with emotion. "You should at least have some soup." She said starting to stand up straight. She stopped feeling something wrap around her legs. She looked down to see a dark snake-like shadow. Confused she tried to move her left leg, it didn't budge. She looked around and saw how the shadow's seemed to ignore the lights and nothing standing in the room had an atchley shadow, they swarmed up to the walls and ceiling. She watched as they covered the lights slowly until it turned was back to the way they found it.
This is when she started to freak out. She could tell where anything was she could even tell if she was in a room.
"Obraie, are you okay?" Zander said, but she couldn't find him, he was nowhere to be seen.
"Zander? Where are you, I..." Her voice trailed off as she realized he couldn't see either.
