I may be cute but I'm kind of in the middle of something evil right now.
Additional info:
CRACKED GLASS (bottom left) represents the time when a spirit cracked McKenna's window when Jennie was trying to communicate with her. Also represents shattered expectations [MAJOR SPOILER] such as when Trey died (in the original ending, not the alternate one), since McKenna would have expected a hopeful future with him after they were done with the curse. OUIJA represents the time when Trey and McKenna (and later on, Mischa) played ouija to communicate with the spirits. SHELF OF POTIONS & BOOKS (middle left) represents the time when McKenna, Mischa, Henry/Evan went to the occult shop, or to sum it up, represents witch craft that were mentioned throughout book two and three. GRAVEYARD (bottom left) represents the time when they went to a graveyard to check out the dead children but ended up being locked in by the spirits. Also represents death, and lots of them. GHOSTS (bottom middle) (yes, that's a ghost) represents ghosts that haunted McKenna, that helped McKenna, and McKenna herself as a medium. ORCHID NECKLACE (bottom right) represents the time Henry/Evan gave it as a gift and McKenna really loved it so much that she felt guilty about it. So, since she somehow really loved it, I put it in the moodboard. WHITE ROSES (middle right) represents the roses that played a part in the spell. Who knew something beautiful such as roses could cause so much trouble, huh?
(PS: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book. My favourite all time romance horror series.)
(PSS: I am terribly sorry for the poor quality in these photos. Since it was hard to find some of these photos (like ouija, graveyard, light as feather game) and I had to adjust to the moodboard tones, I had limited option. If in the future I could find better photos, I will update it. So sad that I really wanted this character to turn out good but it was difficult to find the photos *sniffs*)
